The guest room for accommodation is orange and seems to have a lot behind the building in front of the roof white wall. If you stay at this hotel, the room with the Rhine River is recommended. You can see the ferry stop in front of you. The room was clean and there was a disinfected sign for corona countermeasures, and the label had a local bottled jam for souvenirs. It has a safe and trouser presser. The front desk was friendly. There may be many Japanese guests. Maybe because I found out that it was Japanese, but I made it free for mini bar drinks.

Location was great. Close to Dusseldorf and Mochengladbach. An U-Bahn stop right in front of the hotel. (On-site) Parking was not an issue. If you want to check in during off hours a phone call/email to the hotel, or self check-in at the front door of the hotel will do. Room was clean and quiet. Yes it's tiny but sufficient to a family of four in our case. While the name B&B suggests bed and breakfast, breakfast is not automatically included but can be purchased on site. We got yelled at because we did not purchase the breakfast in advance and walked in and prepared to eat. But wait! We can always pay for it (later) right? The staff covering the morning shift that day argued that people 'normally' pay first (so we can not pay later?!).... To be fair, the dining area was clean and welcoming, and foods were there. There were no signages saying that 'Please pay before sitting down' or 'Please wait here to be seated'. The bottom line is that there is no reason to yell at people, right? Just kindly put down a bill/check would yield a much better travel experience. How did the entire incidence end? We paid for the breakfast, but did not eat anything. We walked across the street and had our breakfast at the McDonald's. We did not want to eat in a bad mood with a rude staff.

Ansonsten war die Einrichtung eher dürftig und dieser Preisklasse nicht im geringsten angemessen: Das Doppelbett war nur von einer Seite oder vom Fußende her zu erreichen. (für 2 Personen umständlich und unbequem!! ) Die zweite Seite grenzte direkt an den Raumteiler für eine recht schlichte Sitzecke. Die Bildqualität des großen TV war, warum auch immer, völlig unbefriedigend. Im Bad fehlten die sonst überall üblichen Kleenex und ein Abfalleimer. Obwohl das Personal durchaus höflich war, bestand das angebotene Frühstück lediglich aus Kaffee und einem Schokocroissant. Der Ersatz einer herkömmlichen Rezeption zu Gunsten eines rein digitalen Zugangs, ist Geschmacksache. Fazit: Den Preis für das Apartment empfanden wir, für die gebotene Ausstattung und Leistung, als dreist überzogen.

L'hôtel est extrêmement excentré. Cela ne semblait pas être un problème à la réservation dans la mesure où l'hôtel est supposé être plutôt bien desservi par les transports. Cependant, l'hôtel déclare être à deux minutes du métro. Cette station est en effet présente, mais est la dérivation d'une ligne avoisinante. La station est fermée le soir et le dimanche et est désservie une fois toute les 30 minutes. Une autre station à 7 minutes de marche à pied dans un quartier d'affaire et désert le soir (et donc pas très sécurisant) s'impose donc la plupart du temps, et l'hôtel omet cette information de son site. De plus, cette autre station n'est désservie que toutes les 20 minutes. Comptez donc au moins une demi-heure pour rejoindre le centre-ville, ce qui réduit toute possibilité de repasser à l'hôtel pour se changer avant d'aller dîner par exemple. L'accueil est plutôt amical, mais la réceptionniste qui était présente pendant la quasi-totalité de mon séjour semblait de moins en moins sympathique lorsqu'on avait besoin d'elle. Par exemple, je ne parvenais pas à faire fonctionner le coffre-fort et visiblement elle non plus. Aucun mode d'emploi n'était mis à la disposition des clients ni du personnel semble-t-il. Une atre personne est venue voir si elle pouvait faire quelque chose et devait revenir vers moi, mais cela n'a jamais été le cas. J'ai donc dû me débrouiller moi-même. En attendant de trouver une solution le 2ème jour, j'ai dû confier certains de mes effets personnels à la réception afin qu'ils soient entreposés dans le coffre fort central. En raison de clients ayant fumé dans leur chambre d'après les membres du personnel de l'hôtel, le signal d'alarme à été automatiquement activé pendant la première nuit, et nous avons tous dû être évacués, dans la rue, avec une température de 10°C. Je dois dire que j'ai été impressionné par la réactivité du personnel qui à distribué des couvertures aux enfants et qui s'est montré à l'écoute des interrogations des clients en revenant dans l'hôtel. J'ajoute qu'ils semblait bien connaître et appliquer à la lettre un plan d'urgence. Le petit déjeuner était de belle qualité.

Very friendly and helpful service. Excellent sleeping comfort by first-class beds. The rooms are clean, maintained, spacious and correspond in every respect to a 4-star hotel. The breakfast buffet does not leave any wishes open and provides an excellent basis for the working day. It is worth the constant control and filling of the warm and cold food at the buffet. I had booked a group and everyone was very satisfied.

Will come over again another three years for the K-Fairl.

This hotel had everything that I wanted on my trip to Euroshop. Good English spoken by the staff, plenty of Taxis always available. Great breakfast available with super coffee. The bathroom was top quality and the bed super comfortable. Only criticism would be the lack of kettle and coffee available in the room. Would definitely recommend.

Location was very convenient for me as I had business in the Seestern area (probably not the most convenient for downtown). Surprisingly nice and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast, and also enjoyed the sauna facilities. The rooftop bar was amazing during a warm summer evening!!
