The location is good, but compared to Hilton and Scandic outside, the location advantage is not as big as the room disadvantage.
If you are willing to walk for 10 minutes, the two outside ones are better.
Another advantage is that if you check in at the Hilton before 2pm, you will have to pay an extra 15 euros, but you don’t have to pay this.

Great hotel, includes the kitchenette with the stove and the refrigerator. The huge plus is a washer in the room, so we could do our laundry. Located about 12 minutes walking distance to the train station, which can take you straight downtown. There are a few grocery stores within the walking distance also, which is very convenient. The hotel itself has a movie room, a kitchen room, a play room, gym and a sauna. Nice for the price - highly recommend!!!

Hotel is located one minute away from railway station, you don´t even have to walk outside if you come via train. From station you can travel easily to Helsinki Centrum, or other direction to airport.(or north) We had room in 6´th floor, windows away from station. We didnt´t hear traffic noise. Room was small, but not too small. Two beds(average), blankets good. Toilet and shower small but ok. Room also had oven if you need that. We didn´t see any personnel, even I think there was someone few hours a day in lobby? We didn´t have breakfast, and don´t know if there was any. But in railway station/mall there are a lot of places where to have breakfast, or food, etc. Room was clean and quite classy. Absolutely worth of that price.

The breakfast is rich, there is a shopping mall downstairs, and it is very close to the airport, which is convenient. It costs 19 yuan to take a taxi from the airport, and 25 yuan from the hotel to the airport. For some reason, they are all fixed prices. There are many places to eat, all kinds of buffs, the price is not expensive, 15 to 20, much more delicious than at the airport. Unfortunately there is no shuttle service.

If possible, I would have given no stars. I booked 2 rooms by phone with the reception for leaving and arriving from vacation. During the conversation I was informed that the parking would be free of charge. The receptionist told me that we had this advantage for the whole stay (10 nights), since we also booked a second stay for our arrival. When we arrived at the hotel we were told we should pay an extra 45€/car (one week parking fee) for three extra nights that our two cars would stay at the hotel parking! This was the first time we were told that only one week of parking would be provided. This was definitely not what I was told by phone - so basically they lied to me. I think this hotel tries to fool people with ”free parking” and most of the travellers won’t bother to complain. We did not stay - but found a hotel with good location near the airport with much more reasonable price.

Only stayed for one night before our flight back to London. The room is big enough for a couple. Bathroom & toilet is modern & clean. No kettle/coffee facility in the room but the restaurant area is very accessible. Iron & iron board is available inside the room so that is handy. Breakfast is very good with many selections including hot food.

董董Excellent 4 star, one stop from the airport. One step away from the subway entrance, breakfast while observing the flow of people in and out of the subway. You can have breakfast at 4 o'clock in the morning, and the equipped sauna hotel is a standard 4-star hotel. It takes 30 minutes to take the subway directly to Helsinki Railway Station, and I will stay at his home next time.

GGuest UserOnly stayed for one night before our flight back to London. The room is big enough for a couple. Bathroom & toilet is modern & clean. No kettle/coffee facility in the room but the restaurant area is very accessible. Iron & iron board is available inside the room so that is handy. Breakfast is very good with many selections including hot food.

GGuest UserIf this review was of the shuttle bus from the airport we would give it 5 stars as the driver was first class, really friendly and welcoming and did a great job as ambassador for the hotel, helped us with our luggage and advised us on our travel into Helsinki for the evening...a true gentleman. The hotel itself was ok. We managed to get a good night's sleep here, bed was comfy although someone had obviously smoked in the room as it smelled of smoking. The WIFI was not available on the night we were there ( no internet connection). We couldn't get the AC to work which was a shame as it was very warm when we were there however at least we were able to get the window open so it eventually cooled down. The room otherwise was fine and the bathroom had modern fittings. Plenty of hot water for showering before heading back to the airport by 10 minute shuttle bus ride, so very convenient for the airport. Didn't try the breakfast arrangents as it was such an early start . We liked that we could get the shuttle bus back to the airport and then get the train from there out to Helsinki centre for sight seeing and restaurants. Very good shuttle service.

GGuest UserGreat hotel, includes the kitchenette with the stove and the refrigerator. The huge plus is a washer in the room, so we could do our laundry. Located about 12 minutes walking distance to the train station, which can take you straight downtown. There are a few grocery stores within the walking distance also, which is very convenient. The hotel itself has a movie room, a kitchen room, a play room, gym and a sauna. Nice for the price - highly recommend!!!

MMirja HIf possible, I would have given no stars. I booked 2 rooms by phone with the reception for leaving and arriving from vacation. During the conversation I was informed that the parking would be free of charge. The receptionist told me that we had this advantage for the whole stay (10 nights), since we also booked a second stay for our arrival. When we arrived at the hotel we were told we should pay an extra 45€/car (one week parking fee) for three extra nights that our two cars would stay at the hotel parking! This was the first time we were told that only one week of parking would be provided. This was definitely not what I was told by phone - so basically they lied to me. I think this hotel tries to fool people with ”free parking” and most of the travellers won’t bother to complain. We did not stay - but found a hotel with good location near the airport with much more reasonable price.

GGuest UserWelcome to your build-your-own gulag experience ! This hostel was just a joke. I arrived at 11 pm , layover of 12 hours, so I was too cheap for the Hilton . I thought, well sounds good, hotel with your own bed, bathrooms shared ,how bad could it be. It was the typical grey and icy Finland experience everyone imagines .Well, I marched over to the hostel from the airport, at night with my google maps, so somehow I found it. I wouldn’t advise any females doing this at that time. It’s practically walking out of the arrival hall, past the finavia pilot building (right side) then straight ahead, left continue past the parking lot and the traffic light left again and after the bridge 200 meters right. The code they sent me reliably worked but the room was a joke. There is no reception, nobody to help in case something goes wrong. It didn’t, fortunately. Back to the room : Maybe 10m2. 1 coffee machine and a hot water kettle but not even 1 miserable pack of instant coffee for 85$? Not even the bed was made, you arrive and make it. Worse than a gulag. Same atmosphere by the way. Ice cold outside. The showers were dirty, the bathroom clean, I wouldn’t ever come back. I guess sleeping at the airport is still more fun than on this 80 cm x 180 cm bed. Not kidding. I liked the view onto trees and ice, something new for me, being 300 days a year at tropical beaches …
