"Oh dear. Our terrible welcome (not) after a long journey spoiled everything. It was all a bit Fawlty Towers. The young man wasn’t friendly at all. We wanted dinner but were told that we would have to wait for service because there was a table of 8 people. Yes but in an enormous room there was only 4 other people. And yes we did have to wait. It was all rather amateur. The young man from the guest then became the waiter. We had to fetch our own menu. And when we ordered wine it took 20 minutes to come and the bottle had already been opened before it came to the table. It was horrible and expensive and they charged for it. The replacement bottle took another 10 minutes to come. The food when it came was good although the dessert was not great. The restaurant was a bit bleak. We felt that the nice lamps needed to be lower with less bright bulbs. Back in the room the TV didn’t work. The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom fine. The next day we realised that it was in fact a nice place. The woman on the desk was really helpful. The lounge was beautiful with lots of fun games and we had a lovely coffee. It’s a real shame that our initial experience was so bad."

Ample facilities to spend well a few days there but the most memorable part was the personalized and fabulous service, especially by the crew in Verona restaurant (special thanks to Brunella and Tiziana) and the breakfast restaurant (special thanks to Maria) who gave their all to make the stay as pleasant as at home."

"I’m staying in RIU alone for vacation, It’s great that hotel arrange me a sea view room instead of standard. However, when I stepped into my room everything is full of dust, phone, cup, hair dryer… bed sheet is not so clean. They changed it for me later. There’s no slippers and toothbrush here, I understand it’s no offer but if you even ask the answer is no. The most ridiculous thing is these’s no blanket on the bed, it’s only sheets… but it’s too late so I don’t wanna bothering. Public area is nice, even perfect! The scenery is wonderful and you can have unlimited drinks."

"The Pink Palace is absolutely massive and beautiful! The breakfast fruit was incredibly sweet and delicious. Even though there were a lot of guests, the hotel felt spacious because of its size. The pillows were so comfortable to sleep on, and the turndown service chocolate was tasty. The funicular down to the beach was closed, which was a bummer. Perhaps there were too many guests, and after the last beach train, the staff were slow to pick people up. I waited on the beach for half an hour, and had to call twice before a car came to take me back to the lobby. Aside from that, though, the overall experience was still very good."

"The hotel is very big, which is also the selling point of this hotel. The outdoor space is very large, and the swimming pool is non-heated. If you don't go in in the afternoon, you will basically freeze into popsicles. However, the water in the swimming pool is very clear, and you can't even tell where the water level is. This hotel spent all its funds on the construction of public areas. The room facilities are old, the bathroom leaks, and the cleanliness of the room is OK. The hotel has too many class stratifications, including ordinary customers, member customers, and red level. Spend 2,000 yuan a night to feel the class difference. The most outrageous thing is that there is no free water. There are only two bottles of filtered water on the day of check-in, and there is nothing after that. You have to pay for the mini bar! ! I feel it is very outrageous and incomprehensible to pay for this room rate! ! !"
