"We have just had a week here and it was perfect for what we wanted to do in the area. Two bedroom, two bathroom villa, great kitchen with all you need, very comfortable living areas. Bedrooms are upstairs as are the bathrooms, bedrooms have balcony's to sit out if you wish but no furniture, not a problem just took a chair from downstairs. There is a outside sitting area out from the kitchen with furniture. A real bonus is that each bathroom / bedroom has a big bath. Takes just under 30 minutes to walk into the Main Street of Creswick, only about 4minutes to drive , very handy position. Right next door to the RACV Goldfields resort, we had many a good walk around the course and beyond, there you will encounter lots of kangaroos and birdlife every day . Another bonus is the bus stop out the front on the main road to Ballarat. We caught the bus into Ballarat and back on two different days, a very pleasant ride of about 20 minutes, it goes once an hour, times are at the bus stop, just use your Myki card if you have one , they do not accept payment for a ticket on the bus . Only one problem we had was the wifi kept cutting out about every 2 hours or whenever you turned your device off, it was very annoying. It was easy to login but who wants to keep logging in every time you go to use your device. There is nobody on site so when you ring the number it goes to the Sebel in Melbourne, they basically said there was nothing they could do about it. It is something they need to address as when we stayed there a couple of years ago we never had the problem, maybe it is a problem in Villa 5 where we were. Apart from that we had a great week, it is a good place to base yourself when visiting the area."

"A very nice room. Great heating on a cold winters night. Lovely warm floor carpet. Good comfortable bed. Great bathroom. Plenty of room for luggage. Very clean and quiet. Park right at the front door , and no stairs. Only a 10 min drive into Ballarat , without the city hustle. Highly reccomend it . "

"Sorry, I don't usually write a critical review but this park is so disappointing I felt it important that others are aware before booking. Very rundown park and facilities which has not had any money spent on it in many many years. So extremely disappointed to be paying top dollar for a powered site where you do not want to use the bathroom and toilet facilities. The infrastructure is there to be updated and improved but obviously they don't care about quality or even a basic amenities block. Was hoping they had a second block that we felt comfortable about using but not to be. Hardly any bins about either and only a very basic camp kitchen. Definitely won't be back - better off free camping and saving your dough!"

"This is a great place if you want to visit "country Victoria" without a long journey from Melbourne. The units themselves are excellent (2 bedrooms, each with balcony bath and shower, separate laundry, decent kitchen...). Despite the name, there are no resort facilities, but we knew that in advance, so it wasn't an issue for us. There were a few maintenance issues in the unit that I trust will be resolved."

"This is a recently renovated motel – unfortunately necessary because of the big floods the town had in 2022. The location of the motel, at the bottom of the valley, does mean that it is potentially vulnerable to future flooding, although the town has tried to improve the flood defences. The rooms are smart and well-equipped with a gravel car park adjacent. The king-size bed was very comfortable. Close by is the Calembeen park and lake – great for swimming and it has a public barbecue."

"This Caravan Park is in an excellent location only a short stroll into town. I can't comment on the cabins but they look reasonable and I assume they have their own kitchens and bathrooms. Unfortunately for campers this park is in a very poor condition as the only amenities block is a brick affair probably built in the 70's and it is very cold and rundown. My partner refused to use it and I can't blame her and it is disappointing that they still charge full price when they obviously haven't spent any money on it since it was built! It looked very clean. Also no rubbish bins around the park and not much of a camp kitchen either. As the only caravan park in town there aren't any other options :-("
