"The old building is fascinating and amazing, the new building is modern and very comfortable. Breakfast food quality was excellent, and the staff were great. Enjoyed sitting on the terraces on an evening with a drink, taking in the views. Highly recommended."

"I didn’t stay at the hotel but it is in a good location for the station. I called in for breakfast at the Brocklebank. Was greeted by lovely staff and wonderful service from Tracey, she couldn’t do enough for you and all with a genuine smile. The breakfast was fresh, cooked to order on a Saturday morning. It was hot and all very nice. Would certainly come back here."

"Management appears to be very poor, No one answering phone calls in reception for most of Friday morning Jan 30th,and long wait on Saturday 31st. Arrived on Saturday 31st at 10-30 pm. Bedroom was freezing, no heating on and windows wide open!! Had to get the night portef tofind us another room. The booking for this had been made some weeks beforehand. "Booked a family room over the long weekend. The night receptionist/attendant has been very helpful. Very pleased with her, but the cleanliness of the room was horrible. Extra soft pillows that were provided were filthy. They were covered by the previous occupants' hair, and I had to change pillow cases myself. Room didn't come with air-conditioning but was provided with again, filthy electric fan, covered in thick dust that doesn't seem to expel any breeze. Kept the windows open, but the scent of manure greets you in the morning. On 3rd day, I requested to have our room cleaned, as I thought rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, but apparently this is only done upon request. Upon request, receptionist noted down pur room number and was told it will be cleaned after 10am, when we came back in the evening, room was not touched apart from change of towels that were left on top of the toilet seat that has not been cleaned. Not coming back, this branch would have been ideal for our future visits to our relatives but won't be coming back again. Couldn't fault staff at Beefeater, but food was overpriced."
