"At the front desk, Mr. Osama and Mr. Bilal, assisted by Mohamed, were exceptional. Beyond being welcoming and professional, they genuinely care about you as a guest. They handled trip bookings, arrangements, and logistics with great attention to detail, always prioritizing safety and comfort. They took care of things I wouldn’t have even thought to ask about, making sure everything was perfectly organized and worry-free. Their willingness to go the extra mile truly sets them apart. The cafeteria and restaurant team—Karim, Mohamed, and Ibrahim—deserve special praise. They were consistently friendly, courteous, and attentive, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Service was always prompt, and their positive attitude made every meal more enjoyable. I would also like to recognize Said, a young man in room service, who works incredibly hard and with great dedication. His effort, politeness, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed and truly added to the quality of the stay. Overall, the hospitality, courtesy, and genuine commitment of the entire team to walk the extra mile made Penguin Village Dahab feel more like a home than a hotel. "We loooved staying at Casa d’Or. I mean, you truly feel like you are in a fairytale, the house is just sooooo magical! As well as the rooms, they are super spacious and beautiful. Also, the team working there is so truly welcoming, especially the amazing Dina!! These guys will make sure your stay will be amazing, that’s for sure. They truly put their heart into their work snd business and you can really feel it. The breakfast was really lovely and generous, and the diving program they helped us signing up for was really good! I can’t wait to come back. Dahab is such a special place and staying at Casa d’Or will make it even more special!! "I was very disappointed how they treated me. I had situation with taxi driver and the hotel management did not care to help but instead they wanted to sell me more expensive taxi driver - their friend. They organized some volleyball but they were not really interested in meeting you just to take photos and post it, like look how active we are. When I had problem with doors that were broken, I waited for and hour or more for someone to come and fix it and there was not even apology but more like shaking of shoulders and you know this can happen. I saw many not interested volunteers working and living in this hostel. It all seemed so fake and not wort the high rating it has."

"We all had pizza on day 1- enthusiastic! We had pasta, salad and sausage on day 2 - equally enthusiastic about the quality and creativity of the dishes....Last lunch on day 4 at Eldorado before we headed back to Cairo - so yummy, so good! I love the puglia pasta best of all 😋 my son really loves the rib eye Steak- ordered it second time today, my son's girlfriend favorite were the Ravioli and our shared favorite is the panna cotta😃😃😃"

"Thomas, Mohammed and the team could not have done more to help. They organised our diving (which was incredible!) and airport transfers very smoothly. The room & pool area was always meticulously clean & we were left alone to enjoy the peace of the pool & sunloungers in the afternoon. Incredible breakfast too. Dahab is more developed since we were here last 24 years ago but it has still retained its charm. A perfect holiday, thank you!"

"I stayed in this hostel in a single room in an apartment stile building (this is a 3rd building in the street where hostel has several separate buildings). The room had dirty blankets and high humidity - it was on the ground floor. I have seen also shared room and it looked pretty crowded with little space on the bunk beds and was very stuffy in the shared room. I didn't like the management style - it seemed very uninterested in creating a real hostel vibe story. It was more about upselling trips and transport options. Transfer option I found via app similar to Uber was 2x cheaper compared to Hostel transfer offer. I also noticed that many volunteers work here and the laundry area seemed unsanitary, which is logical as untrained and not professional stuff is doing all these chores. I wanted to change accommodation earlier but this hostel has only Non refundable policy."
