"Overall happy with our stay. Nice dining area in restaurant and decent size rooms. Food a bit on the pricey end but given the location, was well presented and quite accomodating. Room was good and clean, however only minor feedback is would have been appreciated if all windows were not left open as it took ages for the room to cool given the hot humid weather."

"My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Daintree Ecolodge and really enjoyed the opportunity to experience the beautiful Daintree Rainforest in such a peaceful and natural setting. The location is truly amazing, you are immersed in lush rainforest and the sounds of nature. The lodge has a wonderful sense of tranquillity and provides a great base for exploring the Daintree and surrounding area. The restaurant Julaymba situated by a beautiful waterhole is the perfect place for breakfast and dinner listening to the sounds of the frogs and amazing birdlife. We would definitely recommend taking advantage of some of the tours and experiences available in the area, and the staff at the Lodge were really helpful in recommending tours and relevant details. The cabin we stayed had all the necessities and whilst we were truly in the rainforest, nothing nasty could get in as all the windows had secure fly screens which did not detract from the view. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and is a lovely choice for anyone wanting to connect with nature whilst still enjoying a somewhat luxurious and definitely relaxing stay."

"Unbelievable experience, tucked in the jungle surrounded by beauty..really beautiful and accommodating owners of the property, and can see the hard work they have put in to accomplish what they have to offer, walking trails, knowledge, bird life/sounds. Not to far from Port Douglas and the reef at your feet.. Accomodation is super comfortable and shower facilities on another level.. Great holiday and kids were blown away"

"Super friendly host - Sally, who gave us a decent meet and greet on rooms and surrounding amenities, as well as where to visit in Daintree. She was super flexible when we had to change the check in dates due to flight change. There’s a large communal dining and entertaining area to satisfy all needs. A very jungly experience, if you love to be in the nature, fall asleep with forest ASMR, this is the place to go. Will come back next time when we visit Daintree again."

"A peaceful, relaxing stay. We enjoyed chatting and comparing our overseas experiences with the owners, Greg and his wife Lisa. Our meals were straightforward homecooked food, more than adequate serves. The fruit salad at breakfast was freshly made using some of the fruits from their garden. The chalets are comfortable, good sized with a comfortable bed. Air-conditioning is available but we didn't need it in late September/early October as the as the windows provided good ventilation. Despite the setbacks of Covid and cyclones our hosts provide a good ecologically aware service. Wifi was also excellent. We would be happy to stay again. Thanks for the stay"

"This is a wonderful place to stay if you want to stay in the centre of the rainforest and you don’t mind a bit of rustic charm. The cabins themselves are fairly basic and could do with a thorough clean - windows, beams etc there is a no daily house keeping but the location is unrivalled. What a place to wake up! The food was a real highlight for us. Intimate dining setting, excellent food and we felt good value. Breakfast was included. The hosts were fantastic. So polite and Sasha was super helpful providing recommendations. The location of the lodge is excellent for getting to all parts of the rainforest - Cape Trib approx 30 min drive North. We can’t compare to other lodge resorts as we didn’t stay elsewhere on the trip but we were very happy with our choice for a couple of nights."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at Matt’s place. Our large room with bathroom and its own porch was great. The communal areas on the front of the home for dinning and relaxing were great for interacting with other guests as was breakfast which included generous platters of tropical fruit, cereals, toast, tea and coffee. The kitchen suitable for cooking meals has a shared fridge freezer. The front terrace was a favourite for a beer in the afternoon warmth watching the sunset. Matt was a great host, really made us feel welcome and had lots of advice in regards where to go and what to see. Thanks for having us."

"Excellent welcome, presentation of the house, room, garden…. Equipped with panels for hot water and natural water reservation, everything is respectful of nature. And what about breakfast: great. However, remember to bring something to prepare your other meals when you have a baccalaureate, it is difficult to find something"
