"We stayed here on our way to the west fjords. It was a quick overnight stay. We ate dinner at the hotel and the food was good. Breakfast was included. We took a nice walk around town in the evening and also in the morning. There’s a grocery store in town which is in walking distance from the hotel. We had a private bathroom."

"There is a road about 7 kilometers or so that the road is a bit difficult to open. You need to wear clothes at night when you go to another place to go to the bathroom. The kitchen equipment is limited. Staying for 2 nights is OK. thanks."

"What an amazing experience! We stopped here on the way from a visit to the Snæfells peninsula to connect with the ring road. It is in a beautiful waterfront spot not far from a small village with a restaurant m, gas and a grocery store. You can tell that a lot of thought and effort has gone into building these cabins, including the mirrored sides, the beautiful wood, the hot tub, decking, glass ceiling, heat and ventilation. It was fun to walk along the water, and we even saw a harbour seal. The views were beautiful, and we were very fortunate to have a mostly cloudless night and we were able to see the glow of the northern lights we were there despite it being late August. The owners sent clear instructions and information and were immediately available when the WiFi wasn’t working and walked us through resetting the modem - which fixed the issue right away. I am lucky to do a lot of interesting travel, and this was a really special and unusual stay. Highly recommended!"
