"Our stay was very pleasant. Room was very clean and spacious. Comforter, sheets, pillows and restroom towels smelled great! Super clean, A/C was running well and cold. Which help us to get a good rest. After I checked out, a couple of hours later I remembered I had left my cellphone charger on the bed; so I went back to the office and ask the front desk lady about my charger. Right away she called the maintenance people and asked if they had found a charger at room 232 and they immediately sent my charger back to the office!! Honesty is priceless!! "I am a lifelong Marriott traveler who has lifetime Platinum status and uses Fairfield exclusively where ever we can. The property in Del Rio is IMO the finest I've ever stayed at. Pulling up to check in Cassandra met us at the check in desk and handled the process quickly and efficiently with a friendly Texas smile. There was a luggage cart at the door and the property had Elite member parking. Our room met our requirements on file. It's the little things that matter. The key worked 1st time. The shower water got to temp quickly and was clearly marked for hot and cold. The remote did not need batteries. The ice machine worked, everything was spotless and checkout the next lay was equally friendly and efficient. All the things I mentioned were not met perfectly at other properties we stayed at on this long trip. But the Fairfield in Del Rio, starting with Cassandra was 5 start across the board. Thank you."
