"We arrived late, already dark, so it was very difficult to find the hotel. We searched for a long time, asking people, and once even saw a sign with an arrow pointing the way to the hotel, apparently put up by the owners. But at the next fork in the road, we lost our way. As we were almost passing the hotel, a man stood nearby and pointed. It turned out we'd been driving almost all the way around and couldn't see it in the dark. We were checked into a second-floor bungalow. It's a two-story bungalow, with two rooms upstairs and an external staircase. The bathroom was leaking onto the floor, and the shower was curtained off, but water was everywhere. Then the floor was wet everywhere. Roosters and the muezzin were ringing in the morning. I didn't see any shops around. Demre is a long way off, the beach is closer, but we didn't go there. In the morning after breakfast, we drove to Demre and then on to a beach hotel. Excellent breakfast – I agree with other reviews."

"Stayed here 2 nights whilst on the Lycian Way. Genuinely blown away - unique hillside development 500m up overlooking the beautiful ocean. We were probably spoiled as we were only guests at beginning of season and pool yet to open. A genuine warmth and charm by the husband and wife owners. Food was traditional Turkish and wonderfully prepared with local home grown produce. Breakfast was also a delight. Lovely grounds and interesting local historical antiquities to walk to. We would love to return for a true R & R break - thank you. Tony & Kate White London"

"There was a small problem during the driving, so we had to change our itinerary temporarily and had to stay near Demre. This B&B is a bit like our self-built houses in the countryside. It has one bedroom and one living room and is very large. It is very close to Demre, right on the roadside, with convenient parking, but it is relatively remote (probably because we arrived at night), so it is suitable for self-driving travelers. The house is quite clean. Shoes are taken off outside the door, and you need to bring your own disposable slippers. There is no bottled water provided. Living on the second floor, you need to climb stairs to move your suitcases. The price is really good, only 260 for four people a night. The hotel has the best value for money in the entire Turkey trip."

"Disgusting place. The room itself is quite nice, but instead of a large bed, there are two small ones pushed together. It is uncomfortable to sleep. But I didn’t manage to sleep: the dogs that live with the owners barked non-stop all night. Everything in the room is clumsily done and doesn’t work. The shower is a hole in the floor next to the toilet and a shower head. The floor in the shower is covered with linoleum. The hot water is heated by a flow heater and when you turn it on, the light in the bathroom goes out. The garden is abandoned. All sorts of junk is lying around. Unsanitary conditions are everywhere. There are many animals living on the territory and it stinks of their excrement. Breakfast is a meager buffet. The owners are either unfriendly or don’t know English even enough to say hello. Wi-Fi works, there is a refrigerator. There is a water cooler. Total: Pros: Wi-Fi, refrigerator, price. Cons: territory, unsanitary conditions, room, location, stench, breakfasts, noise."

"This is a wonderful place to relax! You'll wake up to the crowing of roosters and the chirping of crickets. The view from your terrace will be simply incredible! You'll be greeted by the incredibly friendly host, Yusif. You can order breakfast and dinner, which Yusif's wife will prepare. Traveling by car, we chose this place to explore the nearby sights of Demre and Kekova. This is a family business, and I sincerely wish Yusif's family prosperity! "We stayed 3 nights with Suleyman and Canan, I wish we could have stayed forever. The room, grounds, garden and pool are enchanting. Perfect for relaxing, painting, writing or whatever is your pleasure. Hoyran Wedre House is an excellent base for seeing the Lycian coast. It is just a short drive from many sights of interest: Myra, Andriake, St Nicholas church, Kekova, Semina and Kas. We opted to eat dinner all 3 nights at the house as Canan is Magician in the kitchen! The breakfasts and dinners all featured fresh local ingredients very beautifully presented and the atmosphere is paradise. Suleyman and Canan are intelligent, warm and funny people. We felt we left friends behind."
