"Disgusting place. The room itself is quite nice, but instead of a large bed, there are two small ones pushed together. It is uncomfortable to sleep. But I didn’t manage to sleep: the dogs that live with the owners barked non-stop all night. Everything in the room is clumsily done and doesn’t work. The shower is a hole in the floor next to the toilet and a shower head. The floor in the shower is covered with linoleum. The hot water is heated by a flow heater and when you turn it on, the light in the bathroom goes out. The garden is abandoned. All sorts of junk is lying around. Unsanitary conditions are everywhere. There are many animals living on the territory and it stinks of their excrement. Breakfast is a meager buffet. The owners are either unfriendly or don’t know English even enough to say hello. Wi-Fi works, there is a refrigerator. There is a water cooler. Total: Pros: Wi-Fi, refrigerator, price. Cons: territory, unsanitary conditions, room, location, stench, breakfasts, noise."

"This is an apartment, practically a flat. It has a kitchen-living room with a sofa and a bedroom with a double bed. The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, kettle, and all the necessary utensils. The bathroom has a washing machine, hot water boiler, and a hairdryer. The balcony overlooks the mountains. Air conditioning. We stayed in January and turned it on, and everything warmed up quickly. The location is convenient: several supermarkets are nearby, as well as Greek cafes with excellent breakfasts, a coffee shop with desserts, Eastern sweets, the Church of St. Nicholas, and the pedestrian square of Demre. The sea is a long way off—a 30-40-minute walk. But we still walked there. Everything is clean, the entrance is quiet, and we didn't hear the neighbors. A wonderful place for a long vacation! ------------------------------------ These are apartments, basically a fully equipped flat. It has a kitchen-living room with a sofa and a separate bedroom with a double bed. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, kettle, and all the necessary cookware. The bathroom has a washing machine, a water heater, and a hairdryer. There is a balcony with a mountain view and air conditioning (we stayed in January and used it for heating; it warmed up the place quickly). The location is convenient: there are several supermarkets nearby, a Greek cuisine cafe with excellent breakfasts, a coffee shop with desserts, a place selling oriental sweets, St. Nicholas Church, and the pedestrianized Demre Square. The sea is quite far - it takes about 30-40 minutes to walk there - but we still enjoyed walking there. Everything was clean, the entrance was quiet, and we never heard the neighbors. It’s a wonderful place for a long vacation!"

"We stayed from 2 May to 7 May 2024 and we cannot recommend enough. It is a magical place that we will definitely go back again and again. Property's design and authenticity, its location, beauty of its surrounding nature, proximity to amazing sites on Lycian Way, incredibly attentive and friendly staff, heavenly ambiance, fabulous quality of clientele they get, scrumptious food they offer with fresh and local ingredients are just few of the reasons why we are so impressed by this property. They have a very selective clientele. If you are looking for a properly secluded, peaceful, authentic escape, this is it. It is on Lycian Way, in a village that is very secluded and off the beaten track. This gives you an unspoilt nature, great privacy, something that is not touristy. You can completely get unplugged and enjoy fabulous views, amazing hikes up to ancient rock tombs, idyllic nature walks, local and fresh food, amazing company of a selective clientele and more. Our stay was just marvellous and we had the most amazing time. We also made some amazing friends during the stay. It is a kind of place where a very selective few finds it, and then they go back year after year, it's that kind of place that you would always want to go back. Very very special indeed. I cannot recommend it enough."

We booked the option including breakfast, but since the hotel doesn't have a breakfast area, they've partnered with the nearby Nur pastry shop. It was quite a comprehensive breakfast. "We arrived late, already dark, so it was very difficult to find the hotel. We searched for a long time, asking people, and once even saw a sign with an arrow pointing the way to the hotel, apparently put up by the owners. But at the next fork in the road, we lost our way. As we were almost passing the hotel, a man stood nearby and pointed. It turned out we'd been driving almost all the way around and couldn't see it in the dark. We were checked into a second-floor bungalow. It's a two-story bungalow, with two rooms upstairs and an external staircase. The bathroom was leaking onto the floor, and the shower was curtained off, but water was everywhere. Then the floor was wet everywhere. Roosters and the muezzin were ringing in the morning. I didn't see any shops around. Demre is a long way off, the beach is closer, but we didn't go there. In the morning after breakfast, we drove to Demre and then on to a beach hotel. Excellent breakfast – I agree with other reviews."

"This area of Demre is an up and coming tourist area. There is still a bit of construction around the hotel, but the area will look great once the local municipality gets its act together. The proprietorsbare super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was served each morning in the common area downstairs. The rooms are very comfortable with large showers. There is a beach restaurant across the main road, and the owners there are great too. I'd like to come back again next year and see the changes to the area."

"We stayed at this hotel in January while passing through on our way to Kemer. The rooms are wonderful, fully equipped, even with a washing machine. There's a large bedroom and a kitchen-living room. Two air conditioners. A spacious bathroom. And a balcony. In the morning, they offered a good Turkish breakfast. The sea is a 5-7 minute walk away. We even got a room upgrade to a higher category than what we booked. We really enjoyed everything. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed 3 nights with Suleyman and Canan, I wish we could have stayed forever. The room, grounds, garden and pool are enchanting. Perfect for relaxing, painting, writing or whatever is your pleasure. Hoyran Wedre House is an excellent base for seeing the Lycian coast. It is just a short drive from many sights of interest: Myra, Andriake, St Nicholas church, Kekova, Semina and Kas. We opted to eat dinner all 3 nights at the house as Canan is Magician in the kitchen! The breakfasts and dinners all featured fresh local ingredients very beautifully presented and the atmosphere is paradise. Suleyman and Canan are intelligent, warm and funny people. We felt we left friends behind."

"The location is excellent, convenient for visiting the St. Nicholas Museum and the ancient city of Myra. There are restaurants nearby, excellent cuisine, and the most attractive price for our entire trip to southern Turkey. A solid 5 stars for the location. The hotel itself has a great concept and good design, but I'd love to rip the hands off the builders who did it. The bathroom was a total disaster. I even feel sorry for the owner, who put his heart and soul into it but didn't keep an eye on the workers. But this is compensated by the very friendly people who will greet you, help you if needed, and show you around. Thank you."
