Lodges Veluwse Poort
"Spending a night in a lodge here with my son was a wonderful experience! It was cozy and nestled on the edge of a forest. Everything was spotlessly clean, and we received a very warm welcome. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice."
Villa Veertien
"Great view over the river, but the hotel is very noisy. Conferences were held from early in the morning until night (9:30 pm). From the space adjacent to our room came loud talking until close to midnight. We have spoken to the manager, however he did not show any understanding for the situation and how it disturbed our so desired peace."

Fletcher Hotel Landgoed Huis te Eerbeek
"Arriving on December 25th, about 7pm in a completely deserted hotel lobby. It´s a Dutch hotel brand, proud to have 115 BU´s operating all over the country. Receptionists shows up. A stiff “good evening”, nothing more. No “Merry Christmas”, no “Welcome, how was your trip - after all, they cold see that I flew in from abroad”. Then another two words; “passport please”. No engaging conversation. Only asking for my credit card. Payment processed. “You´re in room 215, sir. That´s upstairs. Breakfast starts at 700hs, finishes at 1030hs”. End of Check-in. In the elevator cabin, I notice someone scratched the words “F**k You into the wood. Does the GM ever takes the elevator? In the room, shower is separated from the WC. Towels placed on top of the toilet seat, not in the shower. Breakfast was another challenge. Let´s not talk about the scrambled eggs, baking in a chafing dish. Or the humongous line to get coffee from 1 machine, strategically placed in the middle of the buffet – not apart. (I Didn´t get a 2nd cup of coffee; that 20-minute line discouraged me). A waiter, swiping off breadcrumbs from a table, straight onto the floor. Takes him 3 trips to the kitchen to clean the two-top; no tray used. “Sustainable practices limit itself in not cleaning the room, unless you ask. Disposable plastic salt and pepper mill on the tables, a vending machine selling 500ml plastic water bottles at the reception (3,49€ each). Seems the hotel is run by employees, without propoer training or guidance. Never saw the GM. I know, I work in hospitality, and when I was GM, I made sute to be present on Christmas, and other holidays. The is another property, about 7km away, where I once stayed and vowed never to come back. This is number 2. Happy holidays"
Café Hotel De Prins
B&B HOTEL Emmerich
"This quite new hotel is well accessible, parking was a little more difficult. All is clean inside and outside, at reception drink and food. Prima service. Rooms were very clean, good beds. Shower and so excellent. The hotel was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good, fresh and a lot of choice. A hotel to be happy to go back."
Van der Valk Hotel Deventer
"Nice new hotel. Lots of friendly staff. Beautiful room with all the trimmings. Delicious breakfast, plentiful. Also had a nice dinner every evening. Impressed with the kitchen. The bicycle shed was also excellent and safe. We also used the bar, great atmosphere."
Het Wapen van Elst
"Hotel rooms above the restaurant and function rooms. Downstairs, the terrace was full and the carnival association was busy practicing. We didn't notice any of that on the 2nd floor. Narrow stairs up, but there is also an elevator. The room was clean, very simple. The shower cubicle had doors that didn't close quite right. Otherwise, the room was very small, but okay for one night. Breakfast was fine. I do think the price is on the high side for the simplicity of the room."
Fletcher Hotel Restaurant Doorwerth - Arnhem
"I've stayed here multiple times and would recommend the rooms with a courtyard. The experience is excellent on the first floor, but the second-floor rooms without a terrace or courtyard are much less enjoyable, and there's no elevator. The hotel is nestled in a forest with plenty of green space and a lake, making it an ideal choice for business travelers."
