"A pleasant surprise to say the least. I’d classify it more as a boutique hotel. Incredibly clean inside and out. The rooms are on the small side but well laid out and modern. The beds were actually really comfortable compared to most beds found in the Philippines. The best part it was actually extremely quiet. Indoor voices seem to be in low supply at most hotels in the Philippines. The restaurant was really good with a tremendous selection to choose from. In fact my wife and I ate there every meal while we were visiting our daughter in nursing school. The staff were professional and very attentive. My only complaint is the lack of consistent hot water in the shower. The only other issue was inconsistent WiFi. Seemed to always drop out at the most inconvenient moment. I have to say Dipolog is the quietest and cleanest places I’ve ever been to in the Philippines. The rest of the Philippines should take note. Well done Dipolog!"

"The hotel location is very good. The unforgettable experience, the room that I booked was given to walk in customers which ended up me and my children sleeping at the hotel lobby waiting for 7 hours (1 am to 8am, I pre alerted that it's an early check in due to our travel time schedule). Thanks to the night shift staff (I forgot the lady staff name, but I still remember her face) who ensured that we would get a clean room by 8am. It was the day shift staff that released my room booking. Still we will book again in the future. Recommendable. Just need to call one day before arrival to ensure booking is secured. Service rates as good for the lady staff that assisted us. Recommendation: pls invest in changing all the towels and bedsheets it is obvious that need to replace to look clean. Thank you."

"My wife and I went for a two night break over Valentine's Day, 14 to 16 February. I agree with all the comments made by the other reviewer in 2022. We stayed in one of the larger rooms upstairs (Room 5). It was mean't for 4 people, but on our special break it was perfect for us. The room has 2 king-size beds for reference and is spacious. I requested some flowers and chocolates by email and the hotel staff were keen to oblige and my wife was very pleased at this surprise. If you want to visit Dipolog there city is about 10 minutes drive away - with the usual Filipino hustle and bustle. For a quieter experience we found that the Boulevard was very nice. You proceed towards the city on Route 79 and then take one of the left turns towards the sea. You will meet the Boulevard at some point - it is about 2kms long with plenty of parking and seats. The hotel has a pool and plenty of discrete seating around the grounds to the hotel. The food was excellent and can be eaten in the dining room or brought up to your room. We had breakfast in our room and eat in the dining room in the evening. All in all a lovely stay."
