"Basic as I’ve seen in terms of hotel rooms and facilities, but the outlook and outdoor space is hard to rival I expect. It was dark when I arrived so my first impressions were based on the reception area and separate block of rooms a walk away. Underwhelmed would be a fair word to describe my initial thoughts. Much like a dormitory block. Not much in the way of interaction or support from staff either really in truth. The morning brought the great view of the lake and surrounding nature. I guess this makes up for the mediocre experience indoors? Breakfast was decent, but lacking atmosphere."

"Beautiful campsite, BUT in the evenings and at night there is EXTREMELY LOUD MUSIC and ROARING ENGINES from the neighboring area. According to a campsite employee, the campsite has a long-standing feud with local youths, which even the police have been unable to resolve. Our honest opinion: Choose a different campsite and don't be fooled by the good reviews."

"This honestly is one of the nicest budget motels we've ever stayed in. It doesn't look like anything special and the room was ordinary, though certainly comfortable, but the surroundings are just lovely! If it hadn't been cold and windy, we would have taken advantage of our patio with deck chairs and an umbrella. The building is one story with rooms that exit onto the parking lot, but with sliding glass doors that open onto the patio and an expansive lawn. The cafe/store had quite a few choices for drinks and snacks and a decent buffet breakfast in the morning. There was a park and small lake nearby where my husband was able to fish in the morning before we left, after getting a permit on-line the evening before. No luck catching fish, however. "
