"We stayed here one night prior to heading into the boundary waters. This was a very pleasant stay! The rooms were big and it was quiet. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and overall I felt like it was good value for a decent stay. The breakfast in the morning was perfectly adequate - nothing special, but the eggs were real (rather than from powder) and I enjoyed that. All in all, would recommend."

"Very comfortable bed with plenty of quite comfy pillows. Very good nights sleep. Owner is very nice and accommodating. Reasonable prices. Room was decorated nicely and with some unique features. A little noise from people coming and going in the morning; but less than I’ve experienced at other places. Within walking distance to restaurants and several other shops and unique Ely MN businesses. I would definitely stay at Canoe On Inn again."
