Syrou Melathron ★★★★

"A magnificent mansion-turned-hotel in the classy Vaporia district of Ermoupoli in Syros. The room was a masterpiece of taste and refinement. Perfect location and a minute away from the stunning St. Nicholas church. Breakfast was excellent. The double room was spotless and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our brief stay "

Sea Colours ★★

"Only stay here if you absolutely must! Firstly, it’s a very long walk from the port up the hill which is much harder with your luggage. Then when you arrive you’ll be ‘greeted’ by the most unpleasant old woman who seems to dislike all guests from the moment you arrive. The rooms are old and very basic, everything needs updating ASAP! The room we had was possibly the worst one I’ve experienced. Air con was barely working and on its last legs, the shower had no pressure and the shower head didn’t attach to the wall. Every time we brought these issues up to the hotel manager, she seemed annoyed that we were staying at the hotel and didn’t seem to want to help us. Not knowing English made it harder to communicate but even with the language barrier we could tell she didn’t want to help. Would not recommend and would never stay here again."

Castro Hotel Syros ★★★★★

"A beautiful hotel in a great location. Friendly staff, comfortable and elegant room. Delicious breakfast"

Apollonion Palace ★★★

"A very welcoming hotel with excellent levels of service. The rooms are large and well equipped. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice (not buffet style) and individually prepared to cater for dietary requirements. The terrace adjoining the breakfast room was available all day if you just wanted to sit quietly and look out to sea. The reception staff, especially Mrs. Sofia, were very helpful with good restaurant suggestions and advice on which beach to visit on windy days. 24hr manned reception made for good security. Highly recommended!"

Hotel Ploes ★★★★★

"Great location, friendly service - a unique hotel and a great individual alternative to the chain hotels"

5 Hermoupolis Concept Sites ★★★★

"If you are looking somewhere to stay in Ermoupolis that is near the center but also very quiet when you need it, then look no further! It was an absolute joy to stay at the hotel, the room was a dream and I would highly recommend the breakfast that the host brings you to your room when you wake up. We will definitely come back and visit it! A truly hidden gem!"
