"Since this was our first foreign trip together, I wanted our four nights here to be a special treat. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi suite with sea view was a major disappointment and downright waste of money. The balcony jacuzzi was unusable since the water was, at best, lukewarm, and the water pressure poor. However, the breathtaking view from our room was simply to die for. Unfortunately, that's what I almost did since the guardrail on the balcony had a bolt unfastened and shifted dangerously under my weight! Inside, the wallpaper was coming off the walls in several places but the ac worked well and the bed was comfy. The manager did his best to remedy the problems and even offered to move us to another suite which we declined since it was smaller and had a lesser view. And there lies the redeeming quality of this hotel. It's staff! Everyone from the restaurant manager to the activities director was geniunly friendly and helpful. No fake smiles or canned greetings. Despite the disappointment of paying for a jacuzzi that we couldn't use, the amazing view from our balcony and the wonderful staff made our stay at King Royal Palace Ölüdeniz truly memorable."

"We only stayed here as it was selected for a group booking. Good points: centrally located, powerful showers, comfy beds. Bad points: terrible Wi-Fi, poor breakfast (not a single fruit option was available on any of the days we were there) air conditioning system is old and some of our party had to move rooms because of it. Evening meals were reasonable I would say - soup was usually nice and a couple of the main courses were tasty but would've been good to get a choice."

"Just spent a week here and can definitely say the reviews are correct. The service of all the staff is outstanding. The cleaning staff do an amazing job keeping the place spotless, where the service staff are very attentive, you didn't want for anything. Most of the food was excellent, we loved the steak and the main restaurant,unfortunately for us the one near the beach wasn't good. The buffet is ok, but again not our taste. The pool looks amazing but it was very cold and made it hard to enjoy, but i guess its the end of season. The drinks are top quality, and the cocktails especially around the pool were fabulous. The rooms are lovely and the views are to die for, sat on my balcony each day just relaxing and watching the world go by. For those that have a sweet tooth they even have a dessert area with the most amazing tasting treats. Only a couple of niggles, the bath towels are not luxury and very small, and our duvet was too small for our bed. The music was a bit repetitive and dull. We will most definitely recommend and be returning. Just book the place for a relaxing fun break."

It was midwinter, and possibly the hotel tries to depend on solar power? Breakfast was quite reasonable. The wifi is very poor.
