"Upon first walking up the stairs to the room, you try to soak in the atmosphere and hope the hotel is just a bit tired but clean and cozy: a worn carpet, an old building, nice lighting. However, the moment you step into the room, you just want to leave immediately. Cons: • The room has an unpleasant smell. • The carpet, chairs, and table – all the upholstered furniture is stained or heavily worn. • The sink in the bathroom is clogged. • If you open the window to air out the room, you're bothered by loud street noise and mosquitoes; sleeping with the window closed is impossible. • Immediately after checking in, we could hear our neighbors talking loudly and making noise through the wall. • The shower gel and soap in the bathroom are diluted and come in old, worn plastic containers. • The front desk staff seemed tired and not particularly interested in helping. • There's no drinking water in the room. The parking for cars is in the hotel's backyard, and there are very few spots. The worst part was that we arrived late and couldn't switch hotels because all other options required advance booking. Plus, all the rooms in this hotel were occupied. It's fine to stay in a simple, 'tired' hotel if it's clean and comfortable, but that wasn't the case here. I definitely won't be coming back."

"The hotel is located on Chkalova Street. From there, close to Prioratsky Park and Palace, although the main attraction in the city is still Gatchinsky Park and Palace, but also before them walking about 15 minutes. The street is passing, there are a lot of cars walking around it almost 24 hours a day. The room is normal, there is air conditioning, fan, a sufficient set of towels, a mosquito net on the windows, a refrigerator (which we really turned off so that it didn't noise at night). According to my feelings in the hotel at the time of our stay there were other free rooms of the same category, but we were given a room in the windows on the road. I will repeat, the flow of cars there is almost continuous, sleeping in the summer with open window will not be possible. But also with the closed window is noisy.
