"Hi. I stay in the King Charles hotel every week and believe it to be the best accommodation in the area in terms of value for money and room comfort by a long way. The rooms are warm, and clean, as are the showers. The breakfast is tasty with super service and the reception and bar staff are all friendly and helpful. Car parking is also generally fairly easily. All good, a home from from home. Thankyou King Charles hotel."

Premier Inn Chatham/Gillingham (Vic Pier) ★★★

"The usual clean and comfortable Premier Plus room with the extras provided (which you pay for), but not all Premier Plus rooms are equal. This one had a good shower with two shower heads but there was no bath and what irritated me was no anti steam up mirror. Why do some have them, others not? Plug socket on only one side of the bed, some rooms I’ve stayed have wireless charging points by the bed. There was adequate parking, it wasn’t free but didn’t cost too much. Didn’t require dinner but discovered the restaurant was shut that evening due to staff shortages. It was a comfortable stay but I’ve been in a lot of Premier Inns, up and down the country, mostly Premier Plus rooms lately and they’re not equal in the facilities they provide so I’m marking accordingly"

Premier Inn Gillingham Business Park ★★★

"Called weeks before to ask for rooms next to each other as disabled parents need support. Upon arrival not only were we not next to each other we were 2 floors apart and on opposite sides of the hotel. This meant that attending to their needs became very difficult. Their room (206) has a very strong smell of damp. Our room (16) had a flickering light and dirty sheets. I went to the reception with all of our concerns. The man on the desk said that there was nothing he could do and that it was not his normal hotel. Very bad customer service and we will not be staying again."

Nikoda Lodge ★★★

"When in Gillingham, (Kent) why stay in the usual Hotel 'Box' when there are options like the Nikoda Lodge in Gillingham, Kent, England . A pretty little guest house right across from a park, with a nicely renovated bathroom -to a high hotel standard. The owners are great, and are there for anything you need. (If not on site, remotely able to assist you through the webcam.) -This would be a fantastic option for those with longer stays, (work crews etc.) with a huge kitchen, and everything you need to have home cooked meals while on the road. As a matter of fact, 3 different sets of people can cook their meals at the same time! - It has a 7 burner stove with 3 ovens and a warming oven. Also with the usual kettle etc. there was a 4 slice toaster, a blender, an air fryer and cupboards and a shelf for each unit. I was super impressed. -For the smokers like me, there are two ground floor rooms that have outside doors right off the rooms leading out to the covered smoking area for our convenience. -I would Defiantly stay here again!"
