Lovely experience from start to finish, the oversized coffee mugs was a great touch, thank you for that ☺️ and I got to see possibly the most unique sight just round the corner, pictured, as for the lobby and the hotel, a mix of modern, art deco and comfy seating downstairs. Be warned the bed was HUGE!!! I could fit 3 full size pillows across, so no danger of falling out for me ☺️ I will be going back 👍

You won’t find a better hotel than this in Glasgow! The hospitality was outstanding from the moment we arrived. The gentleman who welcomed us was warm, professional, and made us feel genuinely looked after throughout our stay. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with everything we needed. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city. We’ll definitely be back and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Glasgow. Highly recommended!

My stay started very well but ended up being quite disappointing. On the first day, we were assigned an excellent room. The layout was well designed, with the kitchen located near the entrance, while the bedroom and bathroom were separated further inside. The room also featured a large floor-to-ceiling window facing outside, providing plenty of natural light. At first glance, everything seemed perfect. Unfortunately, when we tried to take a shower, we discovered that the water pressure in the bathroom was extremely low. It was so poor that even the toilet could not flush properly. We waited for maintenance staff for more than 30 minutes, but the issue was not resolved. A room change was only arranged after we repeatedly requested it. The replacement room was a major downgrade. Unlike the original room, it had no outward-facing window and instead overlooked an internal courtyard. For privacy reasons, we had to keep the curtains closed most of the time. Even on sunny days, very little natural light entered the room, making the space feel dark and depressing. The apartment is located close to the railway line, and being on a lower floor made the situation worse. Train vibrations and noise were clearly noticeable, while constant water-flow noise from upper floors could be heard throughout the day and night. The overall experience became quite uncomfortable. The location itself is convenient, with easy access to the city centre and shopping streets. However, there were frequently groups of unemployed or suspicious-looking individuals around the building entrance. On several occasions, we also noticed people wearing face coverings and individuals who appeared to be targeting passers-by, which raised concerns about personal safety. Overall, the first room showed that the property has the potential to provide an excellent stay. However, the severe plumbing issue, the poor replacement room, the noise problems, and the surrounding security concerns significantly affected our experience.

I stayed for 1 night, The room was spacious and clean, and the shower was great. We wouldn't recommend the breakfast as it was buffet style so we didn't know how long it was sitting out for. Also quite tasteless. The hotel is lovely and quite central, staff friendly.

Great location. Quick and easy routes to and from bus station and train station. Lots of shops in area. Can’t comment on breakfast as didn’t book it. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

My fiancé and I were planning a birthday trip to Glasgow and I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel. This hotel came up and was much cheaper than other options. We were certainly not disappointed! The staff, from the receptionist to the bar and restaurant staff, were excellent. They were very friendly and helpful.  Since it was my husband’s birthday, we received a room upgrade and a complimentary drink for both of us, which was a lovely touch. As we walked to our room, the hotel was clean and tidy and smelled great. The room itself was absolutely gorgeous. The layout was very different from anything I’d ever seen. The amenities were great. There was a small fridge, a modern TV with Chromecast so I didn’t need to plug in my Firestick, which I always take on trips as many TVs are outdated or not smart. There was plenty of storage and a safe. And the bed was one of the best features. I didn’t even realise it was electric – amazing! The mattress was actually the best I’ve ever slept on. I’m even considering buying one for my bed at home. The ambience of the whole hotel was amazing. The lighting was perfect and the music in the restaurant was just right – not too loud or too quiet. The food was lovely. Breakfast was buffet-style with plenty of choices, and we also had dinner at Vega on our first night. The menu was great and the food was cooked to our liking. The service was top-notch! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Glasgow. You’ll be well looked after. We’ll definitely be coming back and will also visit their hotel in Edinburgh. I hope Yotel opens more branches around the UK in the future. I’d certainly stay there instead of my usual hotel stays at a popular chain.

We booked the wrong date for our stay and didn't realise until arrival. The amazing Kathleen sorted everything for us. What an asset to the Crowne Plaza she is. Thank you so much for taking the stress out of it and helping us have such a lovely stay.

We stayed during Christmas season and there was a Xmas market next door. The hotel is spacious and all the necessary facilities, including kitchen and washing machine are provided.

Room was good but the lobby area full of foreigners shouting their own language I don’t know they are from Somalia or which country , you can’t sit bar area or anywhere in the lobby level. It was a short visit but room was good didn’t get a chance to try the food but next time for sure because I will be very regular visitors because of daughter will be there for her education

Booked a twin room but requested for a double bed if available. Given a room for disabled, whice had no furniture AT ALL, except the bed. No side tablets even. Window pane was fixed. There's no ventilation from the room as pane is f8xed and to get to your room you’ll have to pass through a series of fire doors. Air inside is trapped from ages. I developed nasal congestion due to this. On top of this, we were charged with 5 GBP for keeping luggage in storage before check in. I don't recommend booking this hotel.
