"I've stayed here several times since the hotel first opened and I value the convenient location and the character of the former mill building. I've always stayed in rear facing rooms to escape any external noise, but suffering from poor wi-fi/mobile signal. This time I was in room 125 looking out to the EV chargers beside Dominos. I had perfect wi-fi and mobile reception. I heard no people noise from outside, but accepted delivery lorries do arrive outside with the noise of beer kegs and refrigeration units! The corridors were stone cold, but the rooms heat up quickly. The bathroom taps water pressure was very low, but the shower was spot on. I did reject my first room (123) due to stinking of cigarette smoke."

"This hotel is in an excellent central location. As previously stated there isn’t a huge amount of parking and this is compounded by the market held on Saturday which means anyone visiting to have a drink will have to move the car on Friday and leave it elsewhere till Sunday. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room overlooked the back courtyard and was very spacious and quiet G"

"We had a very pleasant stay at the easter weekend. The staff were very professional and polite everyone was helpful. The hotel is exceptionally clean, we had a big room with en suite shower. Tea and coffee available, comfortable bed and comfortable pillows. The hotel is in close proximity to restaurants and shops. There are pleasant walks and places to visit just a short car drive. The only complaint was the female member of office staff who took my booking over the phone she was rude and brusque. I'm 80 this year and had difficulty booking on line. It would have been nice to have been spoken to with just a bit of respect The staff I met were were lovely. I would definitely stay again."
