"Except the check-in being a little complicated--the lovely couple who run the hotel/cafe do not live on the premises--this is a wonderful establishment. The rooms are quite comfortable and nicely appointed (although on the small side). The owners did phone and left a message on the door to facilitate our arrival. We met them the following morning. The cafe was an added benefit. The menu is terrific; diners may eat in the cafe or on the porch. The highlight were the pastries! This is a gem on the North Shore!"
