"Our initial intention was to stay for only two nights. But then, when we heard about the Karoo Experience Multi Course Dinner experience offered on certain days of the week we decided to stay for 3 nights. It was well worth it. Barbara and Johan were wonderful hosts. Not only did they give us a very warm welcome, they were always available for anything we needed. Even just to have a conversation. The Ibisi is the perfect home away from home, not only to explore this charming little village, but also to explore the surrounding areas. "

"Family and friends were keen to stay together in Graaff-Reinet for a farm wedding out of town. Profcon were very accommodating, helped with booking everyone in depending on their family needs; helped with organising a meet and greet for the evening before- which allowed both families to get to know each other before the wedding. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, neat and comfortable. The restaurant food was good and the restaurant helped with a post wedding breakfast. The whole stay enhanced the weekend."

"We stayed at Camdeboo Cottages last weekend, there were problems with power supplies but this affected the whole of GR, not just the property but the whole town. We only stayed 1 night but I loved the property and our hostess who was very knowledgeable the town as well as SA in general. Next time we visit SA we will be staying here for at least 3 nights. "On Saturday 17th February 2024, the Camdeboo Hiking Club from Graaff-Reinet spent a glorious day at Ganora Guest Farm. They have a choice of 6 trails; we combined two relatively short ones that took us up a small hill, through the veld and past some lucern lands, before cutting down to the river, with a lovely stroll through a shady poplar grove. Back at the farm house, we were given an interesting talk on Ganora’s amazing fossil and Khoisan artifacts collection, and also shown the ancient rock art in a shelter nearby. JP and Hester Steynberg were the perfect hosts, as always."
