Cuiping Lake Xishan Academy
9.1 (52 reviews)

Cuiping Lake Xishan Academy ★★★

📍 No. 1, Hou Island, Houlong Island, Cuiping Lake, Gutian

"Xishan Academy has an elegant environment, facing the lake and the mountains. From the room, you can see Cuiping Lake, and you can see the lake and mountains. Xishan Academy of Calligraphy and Painting can be seen from a high place, and you can sit down and read books. The room facilities are complete, especially plastic slippers for showers. The waiter is very good and patiently introduces the situation of the academy and surrounding attractions. Breakfast is a separate meal, and the food is good. Lunch and dinner need to be booked in advance. The restaurant staff is very enthusiastic. We didn't make an appointment on the first night we went there. They made noodles and vegetables for us temporarily, which is very suitable for our taste. It is very close to surrounding attractions such as the plank road on the lake and Jile Temple, which is suitable for self-driving tours. We stayed for two days and there are still many places we haven't visited. We plan to come again."

Cuiwuli·lakeview homestay
9.0 (82 reviews)

Cuiwuli·lakeview homestay ★★★★

📍 No. 57, Xinhua Village, Panyang Township, Gutian

"Post-stay impressions: I was misled by fake reviews, and the actual experience was terrible! The cleanliness was appalling; tiny flies swarmed from the corners, long cobwebs hung from the air conditioner vents, and grime was everywhere. Even the eyelid tape left by the previous guest on the counter was visibly there – it's hard to believe the room was ever cleaned. The surrounding area is also lacking; it's just a deserted, nearly dried-up lake with withered branches lying around. Don't be fooled by the photos!"

Zhongtian Hotel

Zhongtian Hotel ★★★

📍 No. 62 Liuyisi Middle Road, Dong Community, Gutian

"Overall it's OK, the price during the Chinese New Year is also OK, high cost performance! The sanitation is OK, but the facilities are a bit old! The attitude of the service staff needs to be improved. Although it is a county town, it is still a well-known hotel."

Zhongtian Hotel ★★★
"I checked into the hotel yesterday afternoon. At 9:30 last night, a middle-aged ** man knocked frantically on my door. I reported this to the hotel but to no avail. Last night at 11:30, we came back from outside and another **man rushed into our room. Later, when he saw that there were ** companions in our room, he ran away. The two harassment behaviors were reported to the hotel, but the hotel not only did not deal with it, but also spoke for the ** man. What? Is he a repeat offender? Or is the hotel an accomplice? The manager said he would give me a proper solution today, but it hasn't been dealt with yet. Everyone please be careful to avoid accidents, personal safety is the most important. It is not impossible to encounter **** in this kind of hotel."
