"Zu meinem Aufenthalt: das Zimmer war sehr schön und das Bett total bequem. Sehr lobenswert fand ich, dass ihr Streamingdienste angeboten habt. Das war sehr cool. Das einfache Einchecken war auch ein großer Pluspunkt. Was gar nicht geht, ist das niemand zu erreichen ist, wenn es spät mal Probleme gibt… das sollte sich ändern. Bei uns hat der Strom nicht funktioniert, auch wenn es schon nach 1 Uhr war, ich musste mein Handy dringend laden, das wäre zu einem Problem geworden. Glücklicherweise hat mein Partner Ahnung von Elektrik, weshalb er das Problem vorübergehend lösen konnte. Abschließend noch ein dicker Minuspunkt: kurz nach 11 hat bereits jemand vom Reinigungsservice geklopft und hat kurz danach einfach unsere Tür geöffnet nachdem keine Antwort kam!!! ABSOLUTES NO-GO!!! Zumal wir bis 12 Uhr Zeit hatten. Als Pärchen ist man dann vielleicht gerade anderweitig beschäftigt, was unfassbar peinlich geworden wäre. Sowas darf echt nicht passieren!!"

"The hotel is just by the Rhein river and next to the Chocolate museum. Walk slowly along the river towards the Cathedral and soak in the beauty of Koln. The staff Kyra is very friendly and helpful, throughout our 2-week trip in Europe, she was on my top 1. The size of the room is great with a pretty large wash basin outside the toilet, so it is very convenient. The room comes with a kettle, a complimentary bottle of sparkling water, 2pcs of mini chocolate, a few packets of coffee and tea. For less than 100euro a night, this is a very nice touch. In the lobby there are water station and fruit basket. Really love this hotel."

"Built in 1999, the hotel has an older design but is well-functioning. We booked a room with a church view, which was spacious. However, the bathroom only offered a 3-in-1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash, which doesn't quite meet the standards of similarly priced hotels in the city. A rather interesting feature is the grand lobby; at first glance, I thought it was a shopping mall! The piano bar on the first floor had a great atmosphere in the evening, until we realized the music seemed to be from a speaker and not actually played by a person, haha (or maybe the pianist had just finished their shift when we passed by)."

"Struggled to get through to the hotel as the phone number on the app used to make booking was in correct. The hotel is easy to find and transport links from the airport I give a 10/10 plus connection to the city was super easy. Upon arrival, the service desk staff were pleasant and apologised. Finally checked in and the room was clean and well done. However, my room was facing the major road and extremely noisy during the entire stay as the road is a busy one.  Ordered a late dinner and disappointed with my under done beef patty, the bun it came with required an electric knife to get through. I did complain and an apology was given.  Now, the hotel room doors bang whenever they’re being closed and made my stay unbearable. Something definitely needs to be done as I was put off!! Before retiring to bed, I hung the notice to not be disturbed..alas! the following morning after breakfast I just wanted to have a quiet time but I was rudely interrupted, disturbed coupled with the loud doors as the cleaners went about their inspections 2 x in a space of 10 minutes.  I would have loved to stay here on future visits but it’s a NO!!  The breakfast was lovely, sauna and swimming pool facilities too. I did not use the gym. Otherwise it’s in a good safe location."

"I booked it because I was arriving late at night. But my flight was delayed and I arrived later than anticipated. Also, I wrote yo them on mail to ask for they shuttle bus to pick me up, and they didn’t have the clear pick up place, so their shuttle passed me 2 times after which I decided to walk there. And upon arrival and getting into my room someone else was trying to check in into my room, so it was really awkward. The breakfast was good."

"1. I booked a two-night stay and asked for an extra key card since my camera was charging in the room. However, the key card they gave me was only valid for one day, so I had to go back to the front desk to get it reactivated. What I found odd was that the receptionist asked for my ID, which I didn't have on me (my passport). Even though I could tell her my room number and my name, she wouldn't accept it and insisted on seeing an electronic version of my passport. I found that a bit hard to understand. 2. As a Marriott frequent guest, I usually don't write reviews, but I felt this needed to be said. For a global chain like Marriott, I found the breakfast selection to be good enough for my needs. However, the lady at the egg station seemed to have a very indifferent attitude, didn't want to engage much, and had a straight face. I understand that not everyone can be overly friendly, but then a European woman walked up behind me, and suddenly the egg station lady was all smiles and said, 'Have a good day, Madam.' This really made me question her service attitude. Was it a coincidence? I'm not sure."

"Although it was a little far from the central station, it was close to the city center, with easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, and shopping areas. It was also about a 5-7 minute walk from Cologne Cathedral. Although it was an older building, it was fairly well-maintained, and the room was quite spacious for the price. It had basic amenities like a refrigerator, so I had no problems staying there."
