"We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Hagi no Yado Tomoe. Outstanding from start to finish. Delicious meals (breakfast and dinner) on both days, comfortable futons in spacious and well-appointed rooms, the most friendly and efficient service (sincere thanks to Takashi-san, our ‘butler’, but also to the entire team) and ideally located in walking distance to all Hagi’s most interesting sights. I can’t recommend Hagi no Yado Tomeo highly enough."
"Renting a bicycle near Hagi Station allows you to explore the entire city. Cycling around the former residences of patriots, Hagi pottery, and the coast is a pleasant, quiet, and safe experience. Luggage can be stored free of charge at the information center or bicycle shops; the information center can help you call the hotel for luggage pickup and shuttle service. The hotel is well-equipped, with two free onsen baths. Enjoying a massage on the 7th floor while watching the sunset over the sea is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend having breakfast and dinner there. Finding food outside the hotel is difficult unless you're driving, and the hotel's cuisine is exquisite and meticulously prepared, with ocean views. The rooms are traditional Japanese tatami rooms with sea views, very charming! Overall, the service was excellent, and the experience was wonderful!"
"I was surprised to drink all-you-can-drink in the hall.
If you investigate the homepage in advance before booking, you should be able to spend a good deal."
"We stayed in a Japanese-Western room with twin beds, tatami mats, an ocean-view semi-open-air bath, and an ocean-facing Japanese-style room.
The Japanese-Western room was new and spacious, more than enough for two people, so we were able to relax in comfort.
The semi-open-air bath was great, so it wasn't cold even in winter.
We booked the Japanese-style room just to sleep, but sleeping on a futon on the tatami was exciting and enjoyable. The futons were prepared for us at dinner time.
There were two hot springs, and we were able to use the open-air bath and sauna.
Amenities and a dresser were well-stocked.
There was more food prepared for us at breakfast and dinner than we could eat, and both the fish and meat were delicious.
The staff were very attentive, and we were able to spend a very fulfilling time. Thank you."
"The hotel was smaller than it looked in the video. One thing that bothered me was that the TV in the room would not turn on, so I wondered if it was broken. It turned out that the plastic information card in front of the TV was in the way and prevented the sensor from working. It would be better to move it a little. Also, the dinner was very delicious, but the order in which it was served was a bit off. The rich braised pork came out at the end... I was full at the end and wished I had eaten a little earlier. But the female staff were all very friendly and I liked them.
The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and was very delicious.
The indoor and outdoor baths were not particularly large, but they were well cleaned and I enjoyed them. Overall, I was very satisfied.
The weather was not so good, so it's a bit disappointing that if it had been sunny, I would have been able to see a more beautiful sunset and sunrise... I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity."
"It's close to the station, the rooms are spacious, it's clean and very convenient. The staff and the shop staff are very friendly. I'm very satisfied. This is my second time staying here. I'd like to stay here again if I have the chance."
"Location: Within 30 minutes from Dongguan Station, you can store your luggage in the case of Dongguan Station, and then the hotel people come back to take the luggage, go sightseeing first, and then call the hotel people to pick it up, basically no more than 2km can be picked up for free.
Service: Standard Japanese hotel level, but not too good point.
Facilities: The room is equipped with facial cleanser, lotion, makeup remover, but like the big bath, there are no special features. There are two types of large baths. It would be better if the big baths in the morning could be opened to 11:00. It was a bit nervous at 9:30.
Food: There is a difference in meals for two nights. Changzhou cattle and seafood are great, but the foremen and desserts are very general. Don't note the dishes and there is no special feature. If the puffer fish sashimi is not available at 18:00. Breakfast is not delicious.
Room: Some are old, not in health, mainly no USB sockets, etc.
Hot spring: great! Between the stand and the seat are great, it is recommended to try both large baths!"
