"I visited Hagi City to research Yoshida Shoin and the Meiji Restoration. Overall, the local residents are very kind. The owner and staff at Tagadai are also very friendly and welcome you warmly. Haha, I would love to come back and stay here again next time. The facilities are clean, and the rooms are traditional Japanese style. It is located right behind the Hagi City Bus Terminal, so the location is convenient, and there are large supermarkets and McDonald's nearby. I highly recommend it. Thank you to the owner. > < Haha. "We’ve spent 3 nights in this wonderful ryokan which is ideally situated to visit the numerous attractions of Hagi. We had a tatami suite opening on the beautiful garden, and was very well equipped. The public baths use sea water. The cuisine quality is of the highest standard for a price which remains reasonable. Service is impeccable."
