"Long weekend stay, we never enquired about parking as there is only limited parking and not sure if you can book or first come, we had decided to use the public car park £9 a day. Short walk to pub, friendly welcome and shown room, we were on top floor, fine for us but maybe not for anyone with mobility issues. Floors and walls are all angles with building being really old, adds to charm. Ate in a couple of times all meals really nice (especially the steak pie). Had comfortable sleeps and hearty breakfasts. Great location for walks and exploring in car."

"This place is amazing. Me and my husband stayed here for three nights in the suite it was fabulous . The view was amazing the room was very clean , comfortable bed good facilities. The dressing gowns and slippers and a bottle of wine were a brilliant touch. The bathroom was lovely with a massive shower. The breakfast was lovely with a choice of continental or cooked options. The owners were lovely and friendly couldn't of asked for better service. The location is very good for the surrounding area with plenty of places to visit Five stars all round . Will definitely stay here again if visiting the area."

"The hive is a self check in with no scope to arrive early. Parking is a street away and they have no electric charging spaces working. The room was lovely but a bit tired. Stained carpets, broken blind, fridge not working, freezing cold, no streaming tv and limited channels with signal. Breakfast was lovely."
