"We called into this lovely pub for a cold drink and food, This is a quaint old pub full of character and charm, they had a lunchtime special on of a sandwich and soup for £10 the food and soup were very tasty. Hawkshead town is very small but full of character and charm which i recommend."

"The hive is a self check in with no scope to arrive early. Parking is a street away and they have no electric charging spaces working. The room was lovely but a bit tired. Stained carpets, broken blind, fridge not working, freezing cold, no streaming tv and limited channels with signal. Breakfast was lovely."

"We stayed in the suite. The views from our room were incredible. Lovely bottle of wine upon arrival. The breakfast was perfect. Dave and his lovely wife were the perfect hosts. So peaceful and relaxing. Absolutely loved coming back to a candle lit path up to the house. They really know how to make it special. We cannot wait to go back!"
