Best Western Plus Amsterdam Airport Hotel

Best Western Plus Amsterdam Airport Hotel ★★★★

📍 Vuursteen 1, Hoofddorp

"We booked late and stayed during a long busy weekend in Amsterdam so we paid quite a lot for 2 nights. The hotel is under construction but the staff are doing the best they can and were terrific. The hotel was very average especially for the price of $350 aud per night."

📍 Rijksweg A4, Nr 3, Hoofddorp

"Great and beautiful hotel. The one thing that I wasn’t satisfied with were the lack of amenities. The description on the page mentions most of the basic items like toothbrush/toothpaste but neither of them were for free at the hotel. Same goes for the lack of free hotel slippers that I basically expect from most hotels. Other than that nothing really to add. Would go again but with more preparation."

📍 Siriusdreef 22, Hoofddorp

"The area around the hotel is messy with a lot of weeds. There's no proper terrace. The food is expensive because you have to order side dishes separately. The rooms are fine. The staff only speak English and aren't very efficient."

📍 Bennebroekerweg 530, 2132 MD Hoofddorp, Hoofddorp

"This hotel is a stones throw away from the airport. Booked as an emergency. The room was clean enough and I was grateful they had room at such short notice. However there were no usb chargers (reception didn’t have any either)."

📍 Kruisweg 495, Hoofddorp

"Everything was well-arranged, including the transportation to Schiphol. Sleeping isn't really an option because there's always noise in the hallway, but it wasn't an issue since I had to get up early anyway. Other than that, everything was well organized, from transport to check-in and check-out."

Van der Valk Hotel Schiphol ★★★★
"Nice hotel with an amazing breakfast. Unfortunately, the wellness area was dirty and unsupervised. Other guests were playing loud music in the sauna and pool area, and people were even taking photos in the sauna! The large sauna was also out of order. Wellness simply can't happen here! We stayed for 2 nights. Despite the sign on the door, our room was not cleaned! A definite no-go for this price range!"

"Convenient stay with free shuttle from airport. Too bad that my request was not be responded after I told the front desk that I would like to change towel, no need to clean up the room, but the shower gel was emptied when we arrived."

"The first room that we checked in was very old and quite dirty, tv wasn’t working and the window was locked. But the staff was very nice, she helped us to change to a better room after all, after all, with the location and price, it’s still nice."

"The shower head in the bathroom was a bit too powerful, sometimes catching me off guard. Everything else was pretty good, though. The front desk staff went out of their way to be helpful, and the location was great, especially being so close to McDonald's."
