"This hostel has a superb location, just a 10-minute walk from Haida Food Festival and Qilou Old Street. There's also a river next to the old street where you can cycle and enjoy the breeze. The cleanliness is good, and there are indoor and outdoor common areas on the first floor (couldn't find the pictures!). You'll also find many international guests here, and the landlady speaks fluent English! She's very enthusiastic and high-energy; just a quick chat with her will brighten your day! Both electric bikes and bicycles take just over 10 to 20 minutes to reach, making it a central hub for food, accommodation, and entertainment. It's also conveniently located near Haikou East Station and Chengxi Station, where you can take a taxi to the airport or the New Haikou Port in just over 10 minutes for a little over 10 yuan. A bus is also available from the nearby Citizen and Tourist Service Center. From the windows, you can enjoy the beautiful ocean view and the romantic afterglow of sunsets and sunrises. My visit to Haikou truly impressed me with the city's rapid transformation: its increasingly sophisticated transportation infrastructure, its vibrant urban life, and its increasingly civilized urban order. Although Haikou lacks the prosperity and development of a major city, it offers a sense of freedom and tranquility that comes with retiring from the countryside, a sense of peace and tranquility for a short stay.
