We walked to the back of the house and turned on the light strip. It was very beautiful and the whole house had a very Tibetan style. I got up late in the morning and had no breakfast, so I went out to eat a bowl of noodles. When I came back, I met an older sister who was cleaning up. I asked if she could pour me some butter tea, as I had never had it before. The older sister poured me a bowl. It was salty. The salty milky flavor makes people enthusiastically ask for another bowl. The days I have spent in western Sichuan have been the happiest days of recent months. Everyone I have met is very nice. Just a glance at each other will earn you a ”Tashi Delek”, the purest blessing from a stranger. I wish you all the best."
