"This guesthouse is very close to Caohai Lake, and you can see beautiful scenery from the rooms. It's hard to imagine that such a well-equipped guesthouse exists in such a small town; it even has an elevator, so it's probably one of the larger guesthouses in the area. The service is also very warm; the owner personally picked me up from the airport. By the way, it's only about a 20-minute drive from Lijiang Airport. It's so much more comfortable than being in the crowded Lijiang Old Town. Breakfast is plentiful, with rice noodles, rice vermicelli, steamed buns, cornbread, and eggs. The aunties serving the guests are all very polite and friendly. There are restaurants and a cultural square right outside the door; enjoying a barbecue by the lake while feeling the breeze is truly delightful."

"The lady who was running the place (we think!) was quite confused about our documents and also thought we were checking out a day before we did. The location was good, quiet and peaceful with nice walks around. The rooms were a bit damp smelling. There is no door between the bathroom and the bedroom and no air con, or at least none we were made aware of - it looks beautiful inside but the damp smell was a bit yucky."

He knew that a girl came and specially selected the best room on the 4th floor for me. The boss also helped me get my luggage. I was in a hurry to go to Lijiang Old Town the next day. Charger I forgot to pick it up, the boss specially asked the driver to deliver it, and I got it in two or three hours! The room was very clean! The facilities are also very good!"
