"Overall, it was a great stay. The double bed in the room was quite spacious, and I slept very comfortably. The views and the hotel's decor were also quite nice. The front desk service was excellent, and it felt very secure as you needed a card to access the elevators. Most importantly, it's very close to Gongbei Port, about a 15-minute walk, and there's a bus stop right next door. It made visiting Macau very convenient and satisfying! They also provide breakfast vouchers. I'll definitely book again next time. For two people, it was less than 200 per person."

"Traveling with my husband, we took a taxi from Gongbei to Grand Lisboa, then used navigation to walk straight to the hotel. It was quite convenient. The bus stop right outside the hotel is shown in the pictures, making it very easy to get around. If you're not taking a taxi from Gongbei, you can take one of these buses to the 'Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro / Tai Fung' stop (also shown in the pictures). The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from there. I got a lot of useful information from reviews, so I'm also providing detailed info to help everyone plan their trips more easily. The hotel is very clean, providing disposable toothbrushes and slippers, but no disposable bath towels – regular towels are available. Some reviews mentioned poor soundproofing, but I didn't experience that. I occasionally heard a child crying in the morning, but perhaps I just had quiet neighbors. The hotel is very close to major attractions on the peninsula like the Ruins of St. Paul's and St. Dominic's Church. There's also SaSa and an M8 duty-free shop next to St. Dominic's Church, so you can shop to your heart's content."

"It was a comfortable stay for 3days. Location was near tourist attractions and was not hard to find. There were many bus stops so commuting was very easy too. The receptionists were kind and spoke english well. The room has complete amenities and storage. Overall, it was worth the booking. Definitely recommend it!"

"I chose the Hou Kong Hotel this time and was very satisfied. You can take bus 25 from The Venetian to Shui Kang Mei, and the hotel is right across the road. The soundproofing is excellent; with the windows closed, you barely hear a thing. A special thanks to the two front desk staff, Picky and Edie, who were very kind, enthusiastic, and had a great attitude! There are also plenty of dining options around the hotel!"

"The rooms are clean and the location is fantastic, with plenty of food and drink options nearby. It's perfect for both leisure travelers and business trips, offering a great way to experience local culture and the beauty of Macao up close."

"The hotel is conveniently located near many popular sightseeing spots, including Senado Square, the Ruins of St. Paul’s, Macau Cathedral, St. Dominic’s Church, and the Museum of Macau, all within easy walking distance. However, it is situated on a sloping uphill street, so taking a bus with luggage can be difficult, and taxis rarely pass by the hotel. You need to walk down the hill to the roadside to catch a cab. The front desk staff were helpful when we asked for assistance in booking a taxi, but getting one was not easy. In the end, we had to carry our luggage down the hill and walk through several streets to catch a cab. The room is quite spacious, but a bit dated, and the window lock was broken."

"The hotel is strategically located. Very close to Scenic areas and shops for those who appreciate a little retail therapy while touring. A lot of restaurant options in the area, including some street food. The rooms are clean but the windows don’t open. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room, a more comfortable chair and some sound proofing. Linen and towels are those disposable ones. I didn’t mind the linen, but the towels bothered me. They leave pilling fuzz on the skin. Also, having an iron or clothing steamer at the hotel for guests to borrow when needed would be nice. All in all, my stay was quite good."

"It’s my first time staying here. The room itself is clean, but the washroom was a bit dirty and moldy. It could have been better. No complaints for the bed and room itself though. The location will be a bit tricky for people who don’t know the location well (I’ve been to Macau and this area many times so it wasn’t a problem for me), but as long as you’ve got Google map, you’ll easily locate the hotel. For such a budget hotel, the amenities was enough, toothbrushes, cups, disposable slippers, towels,(no bottled water though) but I do suggest bring your own face towel as they only provide you with one bath towel (I didn’t use it, I brought my own). The location is close to many restaurants, some even open until midnight! And also a 24hr supermarket which makes it super convenient. I would definitely stay here again."

"Only two skinny pillows with paper disposable covers on a double bed - no towels just thin paper disposables - no coffee or mugs or spoon despite a kettle / no safe / no mini fridge / the tiniest TV ever - it may have been freshly re finished but it’s not a hotel … it could be so much better considering it’s great location - guess profit got in the way …."

"This is one of my go-to places; I've booked it many times. It's basically my apartment of choice whenever I come to Macau. Downstairs, the transportation is convenient, and there are plenty of food options and easy access for getting around. Highly recommended!"
