"This hotel made our Macau trip absolutely fantastic! It's super close to the Gongbei Border, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room was huge and spotless, and having two bathrooms was a real bonus. They even included breakfast for the next day, and the front desk offered free luggage storage. Lynn, Lewis, and Lisa at the front desk were all wonderful. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next stay!"

This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling alone.

"This was my second stay at the Asia Boutique Hotel, and it's right on Rua do Cunha. The hotel's environment and facilities are pretty standard. On the last day, you can store your luggage and go shopping. Besides the snack stalls, Rua do Cunha itself and the surrounding alleys and main roads have a plethora of traditional tea restaurants and Portuguese restaurants that are well worth a visit. After dinner, you can take a stroll from Rua do Cunha along the Taipa Houses-Museum wetlands to reach the Venetian, Londoner, and Parisian. There are buses right outside the hotel that go directly to the Peninsula, Senado Square, and Monte Fort. For coastal attractions in Coloane and the Macau airport, the metro is also a direct ride away. Its prime location is definitely its strongest point. I'm very satisfied and highly recommend it!"

"My friend and I decided to visit Macau together. We initially planned for a day trip and then head back to Shenzhen, but we were a bit tired, so we ended up booking a room at the same hotel as her. I only saw the cheap price, but it turned out the bed was 0.9 meters wide. Still, it was perfectly fine for one person. The best thing about this hotel is its incredibly convenient location. There are several good-looking eateries downstairs, and it's only a three-stop bus ride to Wynn Palace. Coming from the border gate, it's about five or six stops. The front desk staff were all very attentive. Of course, prices are a bit higher than on the mainland, but that's Macau for you – every inch of land is precious. It's a small place, but it has everything you need, pretty good overall. In the afternoon, I went for a stroll and did some shopping. There are lots of gold shops and small stores nearby that are worth browsing."

The Perfect Family Inn is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Macau will find that the Perfect Family Inn is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is just 9km away from Macau International Airport. There's plenty to do nearby, with Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16, Travessa da Paixao and Monte Fort all within a short distance. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. For guests traveling alone, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"The room looks exactly like the photos, so at first I thought everything would be fine. HOWEVER, the curtains stink - the smell is so musty it instantly made the room feel dirty and uncomfortable. The bed and pillows were covered only with DISPOSABLE SHEETS. Honestly, it felt unsettling. I couldn’t tell if the pillows had ever been properly washed, and they even had a smell of their own. The texture of those sheets was disturbing, and the bed itself was rock hard. I woke up with a backache, feeling worse than before I went to sleep. The towels were likewise DISPOSABLE. We had them changed every day. The floor mat in the restroom did not do its job soaking the wet floor. The aircon worked fine, and the location is great. But overall, the stay was unpleasant. This place really needs serious improvement in cleanliness and comfort."

The PENSÃO CARMEN is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The PENSÃO CARMEN is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Macau. From the hotel, Macau International Airport is just 9km away. Being just minutes away from Barra Metro Station allows guests to explore the city with ease. Guests will find Travessa da Paixao, Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16 and Municipal Affairs Bureau just a short distance from the hotel. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. For guests traveling alone, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"If you consider booking Pensao Carmen, you should know that on the signage of the hotel it’s NOT Pensao Carmen! Remember that, otherwise you’re gonna have a hard time looking for this place)) I’ll add photos of the actual signage. Pros: conveniently located in Macau’s old town, it takes around 10 minutes to get to The Ruins of St.Paul on foot, and all other historical sites are just around. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even if they didn’t speak English at all. I met the three of them and all were old ladies, super nice and cute. I left my luggage after check-out for the whole day before moving to Coloane village hotel. The bed sheets were of good quality and very clean, I enjoyed my sleep after a tiring flight. The bed, though, was kinda hard, not for everyone, but my back was grateful)) pillows were also comfortable, better than at some much more expensive hotels. You can get as much water as you want from the water station at the corridor. There’s a bus station 5 minutes walking from the hotel, the name is Ponte 16, it’s right in front of the famous Sofitel. CONS: The hotel is located on the second floor, there’s no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up there. My room was tiny, it’s really just for one person. The bed is kinda short, for me it was enough but I think a taller person might not feel comfortable enough there (my height is 162 cm) The bathroom is tiny, too, and given its dark green design, it looks rather dirty. I’m not sure if it was, but I found someone’s tooth brush in the shower and some hair in the drainage. Yuck!! Only one big towel was clean though. All in all, I didn’t expect much from it so neither should you 🤩"

Featuring a shared lounge and free WiFi, San Tung Fong Commercial Inn, South Wing is situated in Macau, 600 metres from Mount Fortress. This property is located a short distance from attractions such as Ruins of St. Paul's, Senado Square, and Dom Pedro V Theatre. The property is 1.6 km from Lilau Square.

"The room was a bit small, but the two beds were just enough for three of us. It was a very quiet room, located at the corner of the hallway, room 518. There's a 24-hour supermarket downstairs, which was super convenient for grabbing things. A short walk away, you'll find a tea restaurant and a bus stop. Before coming, I had specifically looked into reviews for hotels in Macau, as many guests reported getting bitten by bed bugs or fleas, but this place was exceptionally clean. I was very satisfied with my stay."

Joyful Family Inn was completed in 2020 and officially opened on October 1. Located at 4A Longsongzheng Street, Macao Peninsula, the hotel has 62 rooms, which are smoke-free on the whole floor. All rooms are full of Portuguese style and equipped with air conditioning and LCD TV sets, so that you can feel the comfort and enjoyment of international standards. 24-hour hot water and hairdryer are provided in the bathroom, making you feel at home. It is less than 1km away from the famous scenic spot, the memorial archway of San Ba and the shopping street of fountain, with convenient transportation and beautiful surrounding environment.

"The location of this hotel is superb. Just across Largo Do Senado and with all the shops and restaurants nearby. For a budget hotel, I wouldn’t be expecting that much, the room was not big but just perfect for solo travelers or couples. The bedsheets, pillow covers and blanket covers were made of paper which felt quite weird. The towels were disposal paper ones too. They were generous though giving me 4 packs of towels for a 3-day-stay. The only bad thing about the room was the sound proof. I guess the doors are paper thin or either the gaps were too big. I could literally see the lights from the corridor from my room. Some tourist from China were very loud during mid night I had to open the door and shhhh them. The worst thing is the smell of cigarettes coming from other rooms. No matter what time, there was cigarette smell, even when I’m sleeping. It’s like sleeping in a club or a bar, and it feels terrible. Unless they fix the door problem (I guess the smell is from the huge gaps from the door), I won’t be staying here again."

GGuest UserService: Absolutely top-notch service! The guy at the front desk was fantastic. Too bad he was off when I checked out, but hopefully, I'll see him again next time! Hygiene: Pretty good 👍 Facilities: The room's color scheme was really nice. Environment: The surrounding area had a lovely local, lively feel to it.

GGuest UserThis is a new local hotel chain in Macau, with three or four branches just on Rua da Palha (Straw Market Street). I stayed at the branch diagonally opposite from the Camoes Garden (not the one right next to it). It's a renovation of an old building, and the design and layout are very compact. Although the room isn't large, it has all the necessary facilities and amenities. The bedding and towels are all disposable and soft, which took some getting used to, but they are very clean and hygienic. It offers good value for money, and it's super convenient for dining, drinking, and shopping nearby. 😊

JJamesnzThis is my second stay here. It's in a good location next to a coffee shop and circle K and near the Sé cathedral. Unfortunately since I stayed last time they've switched to using disposable towels and disposable bedsheets which are not very good. Please change back to proper towels and sheets, makes it so much nicer. It's also quite noisy in my room, I stayed on the ground floor next to the lifts and there were people shouting in the reception at night which woke me up several times.

GGuest UserThe place was very convenient and highly accessible to Senado Square. There’s a nearby 24/7 convenience store and the place is surrounded by plenty of food options. The place was clean, and everything worked perfectly during my stay. I arrived close to midnight, and while the staff when I checked-in was a local with limited English, I was still able to go through the check-in procedure smoothly. The staffs were friendly and accommodating, especially the morning shift, which was a fellow Filipino so it was easier to ask for some recommendations around the area. Overall, I highly recommend this place! For directions, simply search Naughty Nuri on Google Maps. The alley on the left side will lead you to the accommodation.

BBcaaaChoosing to stay at Macau Oh Be Cheerful Inn was absolutely the right decision! The room was cozy and comfortable, and the access control system made us feel very secure. The location is excellent, making it convenient and quick to get to all the major attractions. What touched us most was on our last day when we were leaving, the owner was incredibly warm and helpful. Not only did they help us carry our large luggage downstairs, but they also personally called a taxi for us and saw us off into the car. This kind of personal touch is really rare in Macau, and I highly recommend it!

CClaire ArranguezThis was our second time checking in at this hotel. First was in 2018 and it's way cleaner than it is now. However, location's right in Senado Square, close to main attractions in Taipa. The room was also spacious, as well as the beds. Another big con is the floors reeking of cigarette smoke despite the signs of NO SMOKING. They should impose it stricter to avoid affecting non-smoking individuals. The carpets need a good replacement. If this hotel cleans their room better, the standard will so much better as well! A small fridge will also be very helpful. Every hotel room should have them now, I believe. Nonetheless, it's enough for a place to rest.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is in the city centre and very near bus stop, making it very accessible. It's also near tourist sites like the St Paul's ruins and the casinos in the city. The room was small and quite tight to move around as there's not much space. Bed is comfy enough but the there's no toilet wall resulting in a very bright room at night, especially during sleep time as the separating section between room and toilet is frosted glass. Would have preferred a more opaque separator. There's also no shower curtain to avoid wetting the toilet floor when showering.

GGuest UserI chose this Macau hotel for a Saturday night after visiting Chimelong Hengqin. At the time, it was the cheapest hotel on Trip.com for that day, and it showed only one twin room with two 1.5m beds remaining. After discounts, I paid 586 RMB. Apparently, on weekdays, this hotel can go for 200-300 RMB. I arrived at the hotel at 9 PM, only to find that no rooms were available yet. The room I got was a twin room directly facing the reception, with a private bathroom and complimentary toiletries. That was all fine, but it was incredibly noisy at night. Being a street-facing room, it was right by a busy main road, with constant noise from motorcycles and cars speeding by. The curtains were decent at blocking light, ensuring the room stayed dark. Eventually, I was just too tired and fell asleep. Later, when checking out and heading to the Border Gate, the taxi driver recommended a few nearby hotels like Hotel Harbourview and Hotel Ka Fu. He also mentioned that if it wasn't a Friday or Saturday, you could find much better hotels at that price point on weekdays. Plus, there seemed to be some concerts happening at the time, which probably drove up the price of my stay. I also saw a group of four – one guy and three girls, probably students – checking in at the same time, opting for a room with four beds. So, I think this hotel would be a good choice at around 200 RMB on a weekday. However, if you're traveling with family and need something quiet and comfortable, you might want to look elsewhere. After all, we stayed to get a good night's rest before exploring Macau the next day, and we really had no other options. I'd suggest asking the hotel if they have inner-facing rooms beforehand and try to avoid street-facing ones. Overall, I'd say this hotel is alright, just passable.
