"The location is good, by the river with a nice view. The hygiene conditions are decent, but the facilities are a bit old. It's an okay place to stay, mainly depending on the price. Usually, the price is very affordable. I booked it late at night and only stayed for a few hours, but then the price was hiked up. I paid about 150-160 more than the usual price, which made it less value for money."

"Stayed for one night during a layover. Wouldn't recommend it for a regular stay. Paying over 400 RMB just to sleep felt a bit overpriced, especially considering the hotel is a bit dated. For dining and entertainment, you'd be better off heading to the Peninsula or Cotai. The lobby is beautiful, and the elevator halls and corridors exude taste. Service was good, but the room felt damp and overlooked the sea and runway. The biggest advantage is its extreme convenience for early morning flights."

"The hotel is excellent, with top-notch service. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and quiet, and fully equipped with amenities. The location is superb, very close to Rua da Penha, Avenida da República, Penha Hill, Lilau Square, Mandarin's House, the Maritime Museum, A-Ma Temple, and Fai Chi Kei Market. There's a bus stop about 100 meters from the entrance where you can catch buses 9 and 16. The hotel also offers a shuttle bus service between the hotel and Border Gate (Gongbei Port), passing by New Yaohan, making transportation very convenient. The sea-view rooms directly face the Macau Tower and Sai Van Bridge, offering a first-class view!"

"This hotel is amazing, I'm super satisfied! It's so convenient for concerts, just cross the road and you're at the Galaxy. Getting a taxi or car is easy too! Most importantly, the room was very clean and comfortable. The TV was a bit small, but I don't really watch it anyway, so no big deal. The service was also great; the front desk staff were all very polite and dedicated! I'll definitely stay here again next time!!! And Lay's concert was the absolute best! 👍👍👍"

"I've stayed at this hotel a few times, and it always feels cozy. There are quite a few rooms available, and the transportation is pretty convenient, with a Sands shuttle bus nearby. It's a great option for families, couples, or business travelers. Especially the sea view rooms – you can relax and enjoy the ocean view. A really good choice!"

"For our trip to Macau, we opted out of the bustling areas and chose this unique and well-preserved ancient building instead. I heard that a Chinese designer, who also designed Dubai's 7-star Burj Al Arab, was responsible for transforming the entire building into a hotel. The room was very spacious and well-divided, with the sleeping area inside and a separate living area outside, ensuring privacy. There's also a long, narrow balcony where you can enjoy distant sea views and towering buildings! The mattress was super comfortable, leading to a deep sleep, and there was also a vintage rocking chair nearby. I have to highlight the shower; the oversized rain showerhead made for an incredibly comfortable bathing experience! The toiletries were L'Occitane. The restaurant staff, Clariza and another gentleman, were both excellent, enthusiastic, and professional, providing great room service! The hotel is conveniently located opposite the MTR and a bus hub, making it easy to get anywhere in Macau! All in all, staying at the Hotel Fortaleza do Monte was a thoroughly satisfying experience!"

"I have a well-established system for booking rooms, and as expected, our stay at Golden Dragon didn't disappoint my family this time either. For family members with rhinitis, rooms with carpets are a no-go, and while carpeting is quite common in Macau hotels, Golden Dragon met our needs perfectly. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive and very clean, making for a worry-free stay. The transportation from the hotel is convenient, catering to all kinds of travel needs. It's especially great that it's only a 10-15 minute walk to the ferry terminal, which is super convenient for us when traveling to Hong Kong by boat. Highly recommended!"
