Hotel Central, nestled in the vibrant heart of Macau's historic city along Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro, is ideally situated near iconic landmarks such as St. Paul's Ruins and the Senado Square. Following a meticulous HK$2 billion acquisition and revitalization project, this century-old treasure was gloriously reborn in 2024. This singular century-old boutique hotel ingeniously merges a nostalgic retro aesthetic with advanced technology and eco-friendly principles, resulting in an ambiance that is both evocative of the past and refreshingly contemporary.

"This retro-themed hotel offers a great experience. You can see the Ruins of St. Paul's from the 10th-floor rooftop, and the Senado Square fountain is right downstairs. The staff are warm and friendly. Next time I'm in Macau, I'll definitely stay at the New Central again! Complimentary minibar (once per stay): See the last four attached photos."

"Transportation: I chose this hotel for a concert, and it was super convenient to get to the Galaxy Arena. It's just two stops on the light rail, and the hotel is very close to the station, about a 6-7 minute walk. Plus, there are many supermarkets and restaurants right downstairs, which was incredibly convenient. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was excellent. There were no stains or dust on the tables or sinks, and the cleaning staff did a thorough job, even folding my pajamas. Service: Before I arrived, I saw many reviews complaining about poor staff attitudes, but my actual experience was very positive. All the staff I encountered were friendly and greeted me warmly. Any issues I had were quickly resolved by calling room service, which was just a quick press of '6' on the phone. Environment: The environment was good, but the soundproofing was really bad. I could clearly hear people walking in the hallway and even conversations from the next room. Facilities: The facilities weren't new, but they were well-maintained. The air conditioning couldn't be adjusted, and the hotel kept it too cold, so I turned it off. Even with it off, it was still cold, which might be due to the room's orientation. I stayed in Macau for four days in May and didn't need to use the AC once, haha. The temperature without it was just right, even a bit cool. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay!"

Established in 1970, Hotel Lisboa has the longest and richest presence in Macau’s hospitality history. The property also houses Dr. Stanley Ho’s extensive private collection of priceless art pieces.Besides the offering of luxurious accommodations, Hotel Lisboa brings to guests a premium dining experience with an extensive wine collection of over 17,000 labels from around the world.

"The room was pretty good. Even though the hotel is a bit old, I'd stayed here once before 1999 (when there was no Grand Lisboa or Venetian Macau), and it's clear they've been continuously renovating. They offer a shuttle service from the Gongbei Port to the hotel. The staff were all very enthusiastic, helped with my luggage, and communication was seamless. You can easily walk to famous spots like the Ruins of St. Paul's, St. Dominic's Church, and Senado Square. Margaret's Café e Nata (for egg tarts), Yee Shun Milk Company (for double-skin milk pudding), and Koi Kei Bakery (for local snacks) are all nearby. Plus, casinos like MGM and others offer free milk tea, Coke, Red Bull, coffee, juice, sausage buns, and red bean buns – the rich folks really are generous!"

"I absolutely loved staying at Broadway Macau! It is one of the best hotels on the Cotai Strip in Macau. I would love to go back again with me and my whole family. My kid had so much fun playing at the Galaxy Kids Hotel. The room had a free bathtub, a beautiful window, and snacks for us. We also enjoyed the free breakfast, which was delicious and definitely worth it. The hotel has so many amazing facilities, including an outdoor swimming pool, a gym, and parking. Everything felt very luxurious and 5-star. The staff at Broadway Macau were wonderful, from the receptionists to all the attendants, everyone was very kind and made us feel so welcome. "This was my third stay. At check-in, I requested a room overlooking the pool, and the lovely lady at the front desk took a moment to arrange it for me. Thank you. This time, I visited the shop by the pool, and the service and attitude were noticeably different – much improved! The staff were all smiling. Perhaps the previous team has been replaced. Despite a small hiccup during my stay, I'm still giving a perfect score. I feel that the management of this hotel is really dedicated to getting everything right; perhaps some of the lower-level staff haven't quite met those high standards yet. I also tried their spa this time, which was excellent. Overall, a satisfactory stay! 👍"

"Service was top-notch, absolutely superb! The front desk kindly upgraded me to a super view deluxe king room for free. The room was incredibly spacious, bright, comfortable, and spotless. They even provided fresh fruit. The bathroom was expansive, and the walk-in closet was huge. A little more light at the vanity would be a nice touch. Breakfast was also very refined. Overall, it was excellent, a full five-star review! 👍👍👍👍👍"

"Frankly, for a five-star property the offering falls slightly short of expectations. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, and the staff are unquestionably the highlight. That said, for a premium experience, the jacuzzi tub in our room was defective and non-functional, and several towels were visibly worn, some even had holes in them. It’s surprising these details weren’t caught before arrival, but they feel worth noting for a property at this level."

"This was my first stay at the Grand Hyatt Macau, even though I've visited Macau many times. I initially thought getting around would be inconvenient, but after Ms. Lu at the front desk gave me a detailed explanation, I realized it's actually quite convenient. The best part of my stay was the warm and thoughtful service from Ms. Lu. She contacted me the day before check-in, upgraded me to a suite on the day of arrival, and even extended my check-out time because our flight was late the next evening. I'm truly grateful for her help. On the other hand, the breakfast was a complete disappointment. I've stayed at Grand Hyatt hotels in other countries and cities, and the breakfast variety here was far too limited. The desserts and fruits were very ordinary, and don't even get me started on the hot food section – nothing was hot, even right after it was brought out. All in all, the breakfast was terrible, the worst among hotels of the same caliber in Macau."
