"1 really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Even though it’s a small hotel located in a small, quiet town, it felt very welcoming and comfortable. I was greeted by two front desk girls who were polite, cheerful, and extremely helpful. They truly made a great first impression, and I sincerely hope the hotel management takes good care of them. The room condition was very satisfying — clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious for a budget hotel. One thoughtful touch that deserves special mention is the prayer room (surau) provided, complete with clean prayer mats available at the lobby. This is a great effort by the hotel and something worth setting as an example for others. The shower pressure was strong and refreshing — honestly, no need for hot water anyway, this is Malaysia 😄. Parking was ample and convenient. Feeling hungry and lazy? You can easily grab instant noodles or coffee at the lobby. Feeling a bit more adventurous? Just drive/ride left or right from the hotel and you’ll find plenty of food options nearby. If I ever come back to Jerantut, this hotel will definitely be on my list again"

"Very disappointed because the majority of images that appear do not correspond to the current facilities of this hotel, which seems like a scam to me. The most beautiful photos are from the previous hotel, now they have moved to another one and it has nothing to do with it. I have complained to Trip.com so that they force the hotel to only post current images so that they do not deceive more tourists, but so far they have not done so."

Breakfast is also basic, but fortunately, dinner is more elaborate and very tasty. Unfortunately, the owner is a very moody person, which makes you reluctant to ask her anything. All in all, for the price, it’s an okay option."

"Backpackers' place being sold as a hotel. Don't expect much. The rooms are somewhat tidy, but completely dated. Don't be surprised by the daily influx of 🦎 into your room due to the huge cracks in the doors and bathroom windows. Breakfast... not worthy of the name. So we ended up buying breakfast biscuits from their mini-market. Maybe they should put that on the menu, then at least something would taste good. Last but not least... the pool is a flooded postage stamp and not worthy of being called a pool. My opinion... close this place down and renovate."

The welcome was exceptional, the family team was incredibly attentive, and the location is ideal for relaxation. Highlights: • The suggested excursion was fantastic and very well organized. • The host took care of all our transfers for the various outings – a real bonus! • The dinner was varied and truly delicious. • The garden is a true haven of peace: very well maintained, with chickens, roosters, and a lovely view of the river. Minor drawbacks: • The sheets could use changing (new sheets would be welcome). Breakfast is a bit basic – the instant coffee or cappuccino is just okay… Despite these minor points for improvement, we highly recommend this guesthouse for its authenticity and enchanting setting.
