The management is a Greek family with years of experience in hotelmanagement for other owners in Crete, Mykonos and Rodos. But this is there own hotel now! and Cavo Marelia has lovingly been renovated this year — a real gem with an exceptional location, an infinity pool nearly on the beach, beautiful garden and swimming pool bar where you can drink and lunch. Delicious cuisine, and a warm, family spirit. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is exceptional oustanding. The cuisine for lunch and dinner very tastefull. There was no wi-fi connection in the room though it was included in the amenities. Narrow staircase leading to the rooms and no elevator for those carrying heavy luggage. Hotel is located in the heart of Pigadia but parking nearby is another issue as the roads around it are very narrow."

I was so satisfied with the quality of the products and the expertise of the practitioner that felt compelled to write about it and share my experience. The spa room was clean and minimally decorated, dimly illuminated which added to the sense of relaxation. Julia, the practitioner was knowledgeable and informative, a bright girl who made me trust her and relax. The massage oils and scrub products smelled refreshingly and not too intensely or greasy, which was also a bonus point for me. Being a local of the island, I will definitely revisit!"

Our rooms were always kept clean and towels/sheets changed. Finki is a beautiful small harbour village with a lovely beach and restaurants with a relaxing cocktail bar. Great base to travel around the island from."

Newly refurbished small hotel with astonishing views, beautiful infinity pool with the most comfortable sunbeds, sandy beach few meters away, breakfast with a large variety of options for everybody ( I am vegan), also very good menu for lunch or dinner in the hotel on a very nice terrace. Staff very friendly, non-pushy and always ready to help. Congratulations to the designer for a very good choice of colours and furniture.
