"This hotel is located just 2 steps away from the railway station. Also, before the train arrives, it is announced. So I thought that would be an issue during the night. Fortunately, I didn't hear anything and I had quiet nights.
Apart from the trains, there is a bus stop nearby, which is really convenient.
The room is small but comfortable, it has everything you need to rest and sleep. The WiFi upload speed was good.
If you don't want your room to be cleaned, you will have a free drink or something else.
The public bath (artificial onsen) is OK to try once. The water was around 41°C, which is warm for me, not hot. When I have a shower, the temperature can be higher! But that wasn't an issue for me because I didn't come to the hotel for that.
The breakfast was included, so I ate it every morning before departing to another location. The meals are good, you can choose various products. Also, the restaurant is open during the evening, I tried it once, and it was good.
If you want to visit the town, it is OK for 1 day (or several hours) and that's all. You may get a feeling that you are in an anime if you walk near the river in the tourist part.
So, I enjoyed my stay in the hotel. If I come to that town again, I will definitely choose that hotel."
"I contacted them because the check-in time was earlier than the time I had told them in advance, but they were very unfriendly.
I checked in at 9pm.
It was a one-minute walk from the station, but it was pitch black and scary.
I recommend checking in earlier.
Since it's close to the station, you can hear the trains.
I woke up to the sound of the first train in the morning.
There was a paper at the reception desk, so I filled it out.
It said that bath towels were 100 yen to rent, so I thought they wouldn't be in the room, so I put 100 yen in a piggy bank and rented one, and it was in the room.
The room was clean.
No refrigerator, TV, or mirror.
Bath towels and toothbrushes provided.
The water pressure in the bath was weak, but shampoo and body soap were provided.
There was a big spider in the bathroom, so I was scared to use the hair dryer.
The bathroom was next to the bathroom, so it was scary to go there at night.
There were insecticides in various places, so they took precautions.
It felt like I was staying at my grandparents' house in the countryside."
"We were looking forward to the The Farm stay to end our fiat Japan trip. We were 3 kids below 10 and 2 adults. The best parts of the trip were,
1. Staff - mai and Narumi were very helpful. Mai especially took a lot of trouble to explain everything at the farm by using Google translate. Even the staff at the cafe at breakfast time and reception were all very very nice, though I don’t have their names.
2. Hot springs - was super experience and we loved it. Everything clean and proper and very comfortable, even though we were walking around naked.
3. Rooms- I stayed at Habita. It was good and kids loved it quite a bit. The loft, the futon on top, though the projector didn’t work too well.
4. Strawberry farm trip was amazing. The strawberries were all super nice and melting in the mouth with the right textures and flavours.
Even better if?
1. BBQ- we wanted to do a bbq. Habita package didn’t come with free BBQ. The cost to do one was crazy expensive. 3,300 per adult and 2,200 per child just for ‘equipment’ cost. That’s 13,000yen or around USD80, without any meats or anything. Felt really excessive, so we opted out.
2. Board and card games- our family wanted to play some board games and there were plenty of those at the reception. When we asked if we could get a pack of UNO, we were told it was only for the ‘cottage’ occupants. Considering most of the property was empty, it was a bit sad that they did not allow us a pack to play with.
3. Though not the fault of the property, the lack of any public transport and the very taxi costs to outside world for anything was a negative. It would have been even better if they could arrange a couple of more shuttles to narita or to local town etc."
"Undoubtedly one of the best hostels I stayed so far. I went off-season, so there is not much travellers around. But the place is cozy enough to keep you occupied. There are workdesks and also books and manga.
The location is near the sawara boat tour so you can just line up without reservation. The place itself also holds seasonal events like workshop and gatherings. Best to check out their website and you can time your visit during those periods."
"Very warm small hotel, breakfast is a set meal, in addition to side dishes, also equipped with rice, miso soup and curry, eating very well. The room was very cramped, especially the bathroom. I arrived too late and didn't go to the bath, and it was not open in the morning. It takes 15 minutes to walk to Sahara Station and farther from Water Street. It is not cost-effective to order breakfast in Trip.com . It is about 60 yuan more expensive than no breakfast. The actual store buys 770 yen, about 36 yuan."

"I stayed here for two days in April.
Even though the outside temperature was high, the room temperature was set to 29 degrees, so it was hot when I entered the room, but because it was centrally controlled, it did not turn on the air conditioner. The front desk responded immediately, but it did not turn on the air conditioner.
I was also told that the bath would not be usable until 10pm due to construction work on the hot water supply system, but the front desk responded immediately and it was usable after 6pm.
There were two problems, but the front desk responded to them, so although there were problems, it did not feel stressful.
Thank you very much"
