Toyoko Inn Kumamoto Airport ★★

📍 1512-1 Muro, Kikuyō

"It was impossible to reach the hotel by public transport; I had to walk the rest of the way after taking a bus from the train station. You'll need to book a taxi or go by car. Otherwise, it's a standard hotel, however, the internet connection was very slow that evening, making it impossible to watch YouTube or anything else smoothly."

Green Rich Hotel Aso Kumamoto Airport (Artificial Hot Spring Futamata Yunohana)
7.2 (63 reviews)

Green Rich Hotel Aso Kumamoto Airport (Artificial Hot Spring Futamata Yunohana) ★★★

📍 132-1 Tsukure, Kikuyō

"It's old! It was originally a Japanese-style room, but they'd converted a closet into a toilet and sink, the unit bath was small, and it was a card key type so the air conditioning and refrigerator would be turned off when you went out. And I was surprised that even though it was in the middle of nowhere, I had to pay 330 yen a day for parking. You could see the TSMC factory from the window, so I got the impression that this was a hotel aimed at wealthy people from Taiwan."

"I was satisfied with the variety of breakfast options. I wish they would change the men's and women's alternating bath times, as they are limited to specific hours, but I understand that this is probably difficult due to facility limitations."
