"Even before we came we were excited about it, but turning up on the dock and it surpassed expectations. The views are incredible, all the staff are genuine and helpful,they made our stay very memorable. We ate at the restaurant every night and the food was delicious. We used the private transfer boat twice which is a great addition as the ferry is set times. We even did a private tour of the island by boat which I highly recommend. Would absolutely recommend; and if doing so I’d also recommend stopping at one of the supermarkets before transferring over to get some food / drinks for the room."

"The place is beautiful and the island is magical. We stayed for six nights. The room and bathroom weren't cleaned at all during our stay. In the shared kitchen, the bin was only emptied once, and it was emitting a terrible smell. To top it all off, while I was cooking an eggplant with olive oil, the German owner burst into the kitchen yelling "Es stinkt!" (It stinks!) and slammed the door! On the day of our departure, with our flight at 8:30 PM, and seeing that all three rooms were free, we asked if it would be possible to keep the room until 3:00 PM. The owner, who didn't speak a word of English, told us that the room had to be vacated by 10:00 AM. After some discussion, she agreed to give us more time. When we returned from the beach at 1:30 PM, she told us to get out. We offered to pay her for an extra day, but she wouldn't hear of it and threatened to call the police, yelling ""

"A wonderful small hotel staffed by amazing people. Valentina & Mario were terrific, as was literally everyone else who works there. On-site restaurant serves delicious meals. (And this will sound silly but I had some of the best fried eggs ever for breakfast.) Highly recommend the Kalamota Beach house."

"Stayed at this guest house for 3 nights best decision we could have made We where met by 2 fantastic hosts who welcomed us with homemade lemonade (lemons from there garden) and a vey welcome ice cold local beer Room was large and spacious spotlessly clean with air conditioning and a nice little balcony overlooking the bay There’s an excellent little terrace where you can have your own cooked food and can be eaten with the feeling of sitting in a little bistro overlooking the bay Overall 5 star stay in Kolocep definitely influenced by the choice of accommodation If we ever return this will be the first place we will look before considering any other fully recommend staying at this property"
