"The place is considered one of the best in Kudat. Everything is great, except for the cats roaming around the lobby and swimming pool area, including dining areas. Some even sit and sleep on the dining chairs and sofa. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard."

"After a tour in the jungle of Kinabantangan, we were looking for some relaxing days at the beach. And we were not disappointed. Kudat Riviera fully delivered. We stayed in the Sun Beam Villa with 2 adults and 2 grown kids. The large villa is already a little bit older but very well maintained, with your own private pool (large pool) and just a few steps to the beach which is also beautiful. The surrounding garden is very beautiful as well. The service we received by Francesca and Ben was impeccable. The breakfast that was cooked for us by Adi was great esp. the Nasi Lemak if you like Malaysian food for breakfast. The resort is very secluded. We would strongly recommend a car. You can order diner as well, but if you decide to have something at your villa I suggest a stop at the supermarket before you arrive. If you want a nice diner outside of the resort, you can visit the Secret Place which is great as well if you like the back packer vibe."

"A cozy and small hotel, I like there is a water dispenser at lobby which include of cold and hot water. Suite to my familier elder. Overall OK but the only is NO wifi during our stay. Hopefully shall be improve as Wifi is a must not only us but other too."

"It was fantastic! The room was incredibly beautiful and exquisite, like a treasure trove filled with countless surprises. The quiet accommodation, surrounded by the rainforest, was simply wonderful. It was beautiful during the day, at sunset, and at night. The staff responded very quickly, and the on-site staff were incredibly welcoming, offering welcome drinks and even helping to start the BBQ fire. Thank you so much!"

"We had a perfect time at Eaglebay Retreat. It’s truly an undisturbed paradise. You have an entire house and hundreds of meters of coastline all to yourself. Every morning, you can wake up in the sunshine and decide whether to go snorkeling or just relax in the sun—you have the choice. The sunsets were always perfect, and experiencing them on a paddleboard is far better than being in a crowded place like KK. At the same time, the retreat offers a wide range of activities that are both rich and reasonably priced—paddleboarding, jet skiing, kayaking, and more, so you’ll never feel bored. During our stay, Arlyn and h is family provided us with everything we needed: they inflated our paddleboards, helped us arrange sea activities, climbed trees to pick coconuts for us, and prepared delicious meals. Whenever we needed them, they were always available, without intruding on our privacy. Their presence was always perfectly balanced. I would also like to thank Faizal, who did a lot of work before our arrival, and Jamri, the kind lady who helped us recover our lost Apple Pencil during our stay. She assisted in finding it, came up with several ways to return it (considering Eaglebay Retreat’s remote location), and finally delivered it to my friend personally, asking for nothing in return. Your kindness will be remembered. Yes, I think we would definitely recommend this place to our friends, and we will visit Eaglebay again in the future."
