"Do not let the exterior fool you. We did not expect the room to be this great, it was very clean and fairly spacious, the decoration and layout is very solid. The location is very good, close to Midi-Zuid station and lemmonier metro station. Staff is friendly. Only thing is that we went to Brussels during the heat dome and the room does not have air conditioner which makes it pretty hot at times even with the window open, but otherwise it is a very excellent hotel."

"The hotel staff are friendly. Note that the hotel does not accept cash for payments, including the tourist tax for your stay. The hotel itself is nice, modern, and equipped with a lift. The hotel focuses on minimalism, so you won't find a closed-door wardrobe. Both the room and toilet are equipped with a heater. The bed and latex pillows are comfortable. They also provide branded Nuxe shampoo and handwash. Complimentary bottled water and coffee drinks are provided only on the first day of your stay. However, there are a few areas where the hotel fell below my expectations: No free slippers or toiletries (e.g., toothbrush and toothpaste) are provided. The water flow from the shower is weak, although still bearable. No fridge in the room. You need to request an electric kettle from the receptionist. (How much would it cost to place one in each room?) The most disappointing factor is that the air conditioner did not allow me to select ”cold” mode during my stay in mid-April—it only had ”heat” mode. Seriously? Also, if you plan to store your luggage overnight at the hotel, it won't be possible as they do not accept overnight storage. Location note: The hotel is located about 500 metres from Bruxelles-Midi / Brussel-Zuid station. It can be quite scary walking from the train station to the hotel at night, as the surrounding area is occupied by African shops and residences. This may not be convenient for female travellers. If your budget allows, I suggest staying at the Pullman, which is adjacent to the train station, especially if you need to catch an early train the next day. Otherwise, consider staying near Grand Place."

"Very nice hotel, friendly staff and cleanliness met my expectations. I stayed for 5 days with my boyfriend and they always changed the linen and reset the room. The flaw of this hotel is unfortunately the location, as well as being a convenient location in terms of proximity to the center and the South-midi station, unfortunately it is located in a not very recommendable area, I would almost define it as a ”ghetto area” at a certain time we preferred to go back so as not to have to pass through those streets too late, dirty streets and you could expect anything.."

"Good hotel. The room I booked was equipped with a table, dishes, and nice furniture. The bathroom, floors, and walls were a bit dated, and perhaps needed updating, but it was still nice. When I got to my room, I had to reset the TV, which had no channels."

"We booked this hotel for 4 nights during our trip to Brussels. When we arrived early, the lady at reception was very kind and allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated after travelling. Later that evening, after spending the day exploring Brussels, we returned to the hotel very late and exhausted. That’s when we noticed there was an old blood stain on the bedsheets. The bed was also extremely itchy, and it felt like something was biting us during the night, although we couldn’t find any visible bugs. The next morning, we had to leave very early to catch a train to Luxembourg, and again returned late that evening. We informed the receptionist about the stained sheets, but unfortunately he was very rude and dismissive. He told us our complaint was “unacceptable” because we reported it late in the evening and should have mentioned it in the morning instead. In our opinion, he could have simply passed the issue on to the morning staff so it could be handled properly. What made things worse was that housekeeping made the bed the next day but did not replace the sheets at all the blood stain was still there. Our trip itself was amazing, but sadly, about a week later, both my girlfriend and I were diagnosed with Lyme disease after experiencing bites during our stay. We cannot say for certain where it came from, but our experience in the hotel room definitely raised concerns. Very disappointing experience, especially considering the poor handling of a hygiene-related complaint."

"The hotel is in a great location just few minutes from Brussels Zuid but the area feels a bit unsafe, as it’s near train station and there are quite a few homeless people around. It’s not recommended for solo traveller to go out too late at night."

"I really liked everything about the hotel. It was clean, and the service was 10000% perfect! All the amenities were there too. It even reminded me of a competing chain hotel whose name starts with 'I' and ends with 'BIS'. But, as you know, the neighborhood plays a significant role. It's best not to stroll around there in the evening unless you're a 'marginal' type of person. If you are, though, you'll easily find company and maybe even best friends, as they're sleeping everywhere there. Since Brussels isn't a very big city, it's only a 15-minute walk from the hotel to the Manneken Pis. So, everything was great! I recommend it."

Manager strictly followed her working hours, weak problem-solving efficiency and no service sense. more details in Chinese ... 旅游回来一个月了，想想还是要把不好的体验分享出来，让其他人避雷。 6月21日-24日在这酒店住了3个晚上，总体概括就是：没有一个房间是完全没有问题的，而且酒店处理效率低、经理态度傲慢。 第1天，派给我们的第1个房间，空调正常，但浴室无通风、水压低、水温难以控制，而且床头没有插头无法充电，也没有电话，联系前台要亲自下楼。前台人员上来检查，确认情况后同意换房。 去到第2个房间，问题反过来了，浴室水压水温都正常，床头也有插头有电话，但最大问题是，空调不正常！欧洲高温天气众所周知，没有空调根本没法睡啊。 店员表示当晚没有其它房间可以换了，而且上述问题也无法保证次日能解决，我们第2天早上要打包寄存行李，等重新派房。 于是，第1个晚上的解决办法：在B房间洗澡，然后回A房间睡觉。 第2天，大概晚上8点回到酒店，大门在晚上如果前台不在是要刷房卡才能开大门的。因为还没有重新派房，我们也没有房卡，前台没人，拍门也没人回应。没办法，只能翻出预订确认单上酒店电话，打了个国际长途，叫人来开门。是不是有点匪夷所思？前台店员说，因为只有她一个人，刚才上楼上房间处理问题了。我说没房卡进不去，前台没人进不去，那新入住的客人岂不是要一直等在门外？难道没有晚上来办理入住的客人吗？店员只有不断的说sorry，因为确实只有她一个人。 好不容易上房间了，结果发现窗帘是掉落的。因为层高比较高，没有工具也没法把钩子重新挂上去。请了前台的人来，说要第二天上午house keeping的人才能搞。为了不要再换房，我们只能让步接受，做好戴眼罩的准备。当时对店员表示对两天房间的各种问题表示不满，店员除了说sorry，啥都解决不了，让我们第二天跟他们经理说。但经理的上班时间就是我们外出的时间，根本没法碰上啊。 第3天，早上出发前特地到前台提醒，记得让house keeping处理掉落的窗帘。下午回到酒店比往常稍早，发现窗帘根本没搞好。到前台，居然碰到了酒店经理，但人家已经换好衣服准备下班了。跟她理论了一番，为何又等了一天，问题还是没解决。美女经理除了说sorry，就是说他们没有工具可以搞，还说早上问我们要不要换房，是我们拒绝了。你们house kepping能把窗帘搞好，我为啥还要换房呢？！还说她已经下班了，这个问题等明天上班再处理。第二天我都要离店了，还跟你理论个啥？！真的很恼火，我表示要投诉的。美女经理保持着职业微笑，表示sorry我也解决不了，而且我要下班了。真的被气到了！一通电话打到携程去投诉。平台态度和处理结果倒算可以，最后给了点补偿，以平复我这异常不满的情绪。 上述很多问题都无法用图片展示，当时也没有特地拍照，只有窗帘问题，因为要下楼跟前台沟通，所以拍了照。 看着评分4.5，交通便利等优点，选择了这家酒店。一心想着连住3晚，结果在1家酒店就挪了2次窝（按酒店经理的打算，得挪3次）。旅途原本就疲累，还要遇上这样的糟心事，真的非常无奈，心累啊！"

The location is very convenient in the city center, just a few minutes' walk to various attractions, and they offer free luggage storage.
