"The Location is just next to Cinelandia and Lapa in the City Center. The service at the reception was not so good.. You had to wait untii 3 p.m and you could deposit your baggage only upon paying! At certain hours breakfast people have to line up for breakfast. And mostly you have to wait long for the lift. The photos show views from the top of the Hotel"

"A decent, budget-friendly hotel in a central location, making it easy to get around on foot. It's not in a particularly attractive area, but it's perfectly adequate for a short stay and an overnight stay. Breakfast was good; I recommend going early, as it gets quite crowded after 10:30 and can be uncomfortable. The staff was average and polite. There was no shampoo in the room. Overall, a good option for the price and location if you're not looking for luxury."

"Hotel OK is a little bit better than the business hotel opposite. The rooms are bigger and the air conditioning was good. However, the service wasn't always good. It varied a lot. Sometimes room service picked up, sometimes there was someone behind the lobby bar. I think the hotel is understaffed service wise. Overall, a decent stay. But, would probably stay somewhere a bit more expensive next time."

"It's conveniently located in the nightlife area, with plenty of supermarkets and restaurants. The front desk staff were very friendly, especially Igor, who was incredibly helpful. ;) I would definitely stay here again if I come to Rio again."

"Good location just one minute walk from Praça Tiradentes in the historic city centre. The hotel is old and needs some refurbishment. WiFi signal was poor. Nice bathroom. The mattresses were old. Considering the cheap price including free breakfast, I would stay there again."

"Great location, but several areas need improvement Arosa Hotel has a great location, right in the heart of Lapa, close to many small local restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, and various stores. It’s very easy to get around — in short, the location is excellent. The rooms are spacious, which is definitely a plus. However, several aspects of the service could be improved. Our check-in experience was particularly unpleasant. We were a group of four, and upon arrival, their system was down. Instead of offering a simple or practical solution, the receptionists — who were quite unfriendly and unhelpful — asked us to scan a QR code and complete a long online form. The form included a number of unnecessary questions, more than what one would typically be asked at immigration when entering Brazil. Additionally, the internet did not work at all during our stay. While this didn’t seem to bother local guests, it was a real inconvenience for us as international visitors. Lastly, while the hotel gives off a grand appearance at first glance, the overall structure could really use some updates and maintenance. To sum up: great potential and excellent location, but the guest experience needs serious attention."
