GGuest UserAffordable hotel in decent neighbourhood. It’s 15min walk from Zurich HBF. Sink basin is located inside the room instead of bathroom. Room floor can be get wet , if you are not too careful. Air conditioning is not there, but fan is provided.

HHappygirlisme 1Staff was very friendly when we checked in. Room was a little small but enough for us to rest in for a day. Had a good night sleep and location wise was good. Near to Zurich HB about 10 mins walk from station. We were carrying 2 large suitcases only had 1 challenging point where we needed to carry them up a flight of stairs on the way to the hotel from the train station.

GGuest UserThe location is pretty and quiet 13-19min away the airport Less than 15min to city and it’s easy to get around Rooms are not small and pretty tidy and clean Check in was smooth and staff are very nice and helpful ! Around the hotel there’s shop, cinema and nice cafe can stopped by!

GGuest UserThe first day when we arrived on the 13th of August , the guy at the front desk was very friendly and polite.The hotel is located near tram and train station and bus station so it is was very convenient to go anywhere. Tram is 4mins walk away ,10mins walk to supermarket and train station. And 15mins by tram to the Zurich airport . Hotel cleanliness is an issue, very dusty floor,dirty sink,and dirty toilet bowl. I even asked twice the receptionist the guy on duty if they can clean our room and put a fresh towel but no one came to clean.Room service is not 24hrs. Air conditioning doesn’t cool the room down. No tv channels. Hotel service is below standard. Merlyn from London

TTravelshortsWe stayed at ibis Zürich City West for one night while visiting Zurich, and it worked well as a straightforward place to stay for a quick stop in the city. We had a triple room, which was a good size and worked well for our needs. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with enough space for luggage and a good night’s sleep after travelling. It wasn’t luxurious, but it had everything you would expect from an Ibis hotel and felt well maintained. In terms of location, the hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Zurich’s main train station, which makes it reasonably convenient if you’re arriving by train. The area felt easy to navigate, and although it’s not right in the historic centre, it’s close enough to reach the main parts of the city without too much difficulty. Our stay was very short — we arrived late in the evening and left early the next morning — so we didn’t get the chance to explore the hotel or use any of the facilities such as the restaurant or breakfast service. For us, the hotel simply served as a comfortable overnight stop. I would recommend ibis Zürich City West if you’re looking for a clean, reliable hotel for a short stay in Zurich. It’s particularly suitable if you just need somewhere practical to sleep before continuing your journey.

GGuest UserHotel is a 10 min walk from the bus station which connects to the train from the airport. The same bus station that takes to the central train station. It costs about 12CHF to 18CHF to or from train station. Hotel provides free rental bicycles which is very convenient. Facilities are OK. Room size is reasonable. Be aware that the uncovered glass of the shower may not suitable for all if privacy is important. The room we stayed were extremely hot. While it is only 14°-18° outside, the room temperature is definitely 30°+. It made hard to wear the proper clothing to fit the temperature for the day. No aircon, the only way to cool the room down is to open the side window which leaves no wall from the room to outside of the building. Yes, the only barrier are a couple of metal bars between the desk against the window to outside the building from our ninth floor room. Plus the window can closed by itself, you need to reopen it multiple times if you want the cooler air for a little longer. It’s hard for a hot night sleep. Breakfast is good and has good variety of the food and drinks. It costs 24CHF p.p. if it is pre-ordered. If stays in the same room, no, it is not recommended to stay here. It may have other rooms that are not as hot as the one we stayed.

SSouthPhillyPTHotel Montana Zürich is located very close to the main train station. It offers clean and comfortable accommodations. Staff were generally friendly. We stayed for 4 nights. The room we were in, faced Konradstraße and it wasn’t noisy even on a Saturday night. The room size was adequate, however, without air-conditioning. Nespresso Coffee was available to use in-room. Fans and a portable heater were available upon request. The pillows were very thin and not supportive if you have neck/back issues. Morning showers could be an issue with hot water running out (if a lot of people are showering at the same time). The breakfast was adequate. We just hoped that guests staying longer than 3 nights would be allowed to check-in around noon especially for flights arriving in the early morning.
