If you are visiting Zurich this is the hotel to book & rebook! Close to everything specially to train station. Modern & super clean. Coffee machine & water or hot water or sparkling water dispenser available in the lobby. Mighty gym. Breakfast was the best part. Everything you expect from continental breakfast, made this hotel such a great value. Rooms aren’t big but sufficient space.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Zurich - very close to the central tram stops. The only issue we had was the stairs at the front, but an employee directed us to the back of the property and there were less stairs there. 👍🏼👍🏼 Lift was quite small but we managed. They have a wonderful restaurant on site with authentic meals - very nice.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Swiss National Museum, and within walking distance of ETH Zurich, making it convenient to get anywhere. We arrived in Zurich from Interlaken earlier than scheduled, and the front desk kindly arranged a room for us before the official check-in time, which we greatly appreciated. The bar on the ground floor is very popular, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of dried fruits. There was a bottle of drinking water in the room, but we had to contact customer service to get slippers. Unfortunately, outside our window was a construction site with a building under construction, causing a lot of noise.

Had a great stay at Ruby Mimi Hotel Zurich. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, which made the stay really comfortable. Everything felt fresh and nicely organized, from the room to the common areas. It’s also very convenient — the location makes it easy to get around, whether you’re exploring the city or heading to nearby attractions. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable stay, perfect for a short trip!

I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at 25hours Hotel Zürich West. From the moment I arrived, the experience was warm and welcoming — the staff were not only professional but genuinely friendly, adding a personal touch that made a big difference. The rooms are a standout: stylishly designed with bold, playful décor and thoughtful details that give the space character without compromising on comfort. I especially appreciated the roomy interiors, which offered more space than most urban hotels — a real luxury in Zurich. The layout felt both functional and relaxing, making it easy to settle in whether you’re in town for work or leisure. The hotel also fits perfectly into the creative energy of the Zürich West district, with a modern vibe that feels authentic rather than over-designed. Highly recommended for travelers looking for something with personality, comfort, and consistently great service.

After surviving a passport control queue that felt long enough to qualify as a second flight, walking into 25Hours Hotel Zurich was pure bliss. We’d booked a Large room for our first Valentine’s weekend together, and it was a brilliant call - spacious, beautifully presented, and hitting that elusive sweet spot between ”industrial-chic” and ”actually comfortable.” The showstopper (quite literally) was the glass shower cubicle standing proudly in the centre of the room. It’s a bold design choice that we loved, and for those who aren’t quite ready to share that much with their partner, it’s easily screened off for a bit of privacy. The free mini-bar and designer coffee were lovely surprises that made us feel like VIPs, and the smart TV’s screen-sharing was a total win; mirroring Netflix from our phones was effortless, making our late-night movie plans a breeze. The staff were truly excellent. We turned up an hour before the official check-in time, but instead of being sent away to wander the streets, the receptionist checked us in immediately with a genuine smile. Furthermore, after we indulged in slightly more red wine than was perhaps wise the night before, the team graciously allowed us a late check-out with zero fuss and no extra charge. That level of empathy is rare, in my experience. If you want high-quality, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully quirky accommodation in a prime Zurich location, look no further. It even smells fantastic - I’m convinced there’s a designer scent being pumped through the air conditioning. (Note to management: if you sell that fragrance in a bottle, please let me know - I’ll take five!) We had a highly enjoyable, relaxing stay and we will definitely be back.

The room is definitely on the small side but as a petite woman, this is definitely enough for a few nights’ stay. The bed was comfy and the arrangement of the room made sense. The best was how it’s literally just in front of Flix bus station & train station. So no matter how late you arrive, you don’t need to worry about lugging your luggage in the dark and walk for far to find the place. Overall, I enjoyed my night stay at Fred’s and would consider staying with them again if I were to visit Zurich again.

Last minute booked we arrived mid night 24 hours check in very convenient, the room is very clean and neat , location strategic walking distance to train station about 5 minutes, highly recommended!

Honestly, this hotel isn't really worth the price. The good rating is for the front desk staff, I think there were two men and two women? They were all incredibly friendly, patient, and polite with guests. The hotel's location is a bit of a joke, to be honest – it's halfway up a hill. It's five tram stops from the train station, and while it looks like just over a kilometer on the map, it actually takes 30 minutes to walk because you have to climb uphill. That's a huge time commitment, and we wouldn't wish the awkwardness of dragging heavy suitcases up those stairs on anyone else... The hotel rooms are tiny, much smaller than what we had in Germany, and there's no air conditioning! That was the most frustrating part, especially in summer. The room only had one fan, but it was completely useless. The bathroom is also very small; you have to make sure to close the door tightly after every shower, otherwise, the room just gets even hotter.

The room is great, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. BUT: upon check-in, I was asked to leave MY CREDIT CARD on file for the duration of my stay! This was despite the room already being paid for and charged to my credit card. Of course, I indignantly refused. Then I was asked to put down a 100€ deposit, which I equally firmly rejected (I didn't even have any Euros on me anyway... it was a spur-of-the-moment idea to be in Zurich!). The justification given was that I might raid the minibar without paying, but it was empty anyway. Mercifully, I was then allowed to check into my room without leaving any deposit.
