A hotel's quality is determined not only by its exterior and interior design, but also by the attention to detail in its management. Food: The breakfast was varied and satisfying for my family. The rice noodles were generously topped with ingredients, and the chef's fried eggs were always soft-boiled and delicious. It was a high standard for a four-star hotel. Location: The hotel is located in Panlong District, close to the wildlife park and easily accessible by taxi for outdoor activities. Cleanliness: The bedding was clean and tidy, and there was no dust at all. Ambient: Away from the bustling city, with plenty of greenery, it wasn't a mosquito magnet. Suggestions: The hotel currently lacks family rooms. We saw many guests traveling with elderly guests and children. Triple beds or one large and one small bed would have been a much better experience.

Pros: very close to metro. Compact but comfortable. Two bathrooms. Modern appliances. Kitchen if you want to cook, but why bother?! So much good, cheap food in Kunming. Helpful management . 24ht attendant to let you in. Lots of shops nearby. Coffee too! Cons: a bit dirty floors and walls. Nothing to cook or eat with if you actually wanna cook. No toilet paper in one of the bathrooms. View is mostly blocked by the other side of the building. Conclusion: i would stay there again and just check all amenities were present. It’s a great deal for the place you get!

The room was quite spacious and comfortable, and the bed was very soft. Plus, there was a mini-fridge! When I checked in, the butler, a very friendly gentleman, helped me with my luggage and was very good at chatting. He also gave a detailed introduction to the room, even mentioning that the mattress was from Mousse. My room was well-arranged, and the family room had a lot of thoughtful touches. Just a side note, when I asked for a second room key, the butler, a lady, was quite firm and said it wasn't possible. After some discussion, she did give me a power card. If I go to the northern part of Kunming again, I'll definitely stay here.

This hotel is uniquely located within an expo park right next to the World Expo site, which is quite rare. The environment is exceptionally quiet and comfortable, completely free from street noise, allowing both my parents and children to rest wonderfully. I saw online that it was a newly opened hotel and was initially a bit worried, but there was absolutely no strange odor, so we felt very at ease staying here. Shopping is also very convenient nearby, with a commercial street and a mall not far away. It's quite easy to take my parents and children to the Safari Park and the World Expo from here. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit.

The room was incredibly spacious, and the two nightstands both had wireless charging and built-in speakers, which was super convenient. The front desk kindly upgraded our room for free, which was a really nice touch, and the room they assigned had a great view of the city nightscape. The bathroom featured a smart toilet, and the housekeeping staff was incredibly quick to deliver items we requested. The soundproofing in the room was excellent. On this business trip to Kunming, I chose the Hilton Garden Inn. As always, the facilities and service were excellent. There's a large ground-level parking lot behind the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel also has a complimentary beverage area on the first floor for guests. I booked a king-sized room this time, and to my surprise, it was actually a suite with a small living room and a desk outside, and the bedroom inside. I stayed here for 5 days, and it felt very cozy overall. I'll definitely consider Hilton Garden Inn first when I travel to other cities in the future, haha~

The elevator requires a transfer and doesn't go directly to the hotel; plus, out of several elevators, only one or two actually respond to calls, while the others are exclusive to different hotels. The hotel entrance itself is also hard to find. The door lock was broken and needed a technician to fix it. The status light panel outside the door was also caved in. Environment: Convenient for shopping. Hygiene: Long hairs, clearly accumulated over many years, unsurprisingly clogged the drain, making it barely usable for a foot wash. Overall: A hotel that allows early check-in but clearly cuts corners.
