The hotel looks a bit old
But the overall space is spacious, each room has its own hot spring pool, mainly underwater hot springs
There are also hot spring houses and swimming pools outdoors.
The breakfast is varied and rich, and it is also convenient for vegetarians.
The hotel staff is also very friendly, and the precautions for accommodation will be explained in detail.
Next time I have the opportunity to visit the Northeast Corner, I will consider staying here again

Jinshan location is a bit far-refers to Taipei-what is convenient for parking
Hanging clothes and quick pot position is inappropriate for the upper and lower position!
I am used to boiling bottled water and drinking it again. If there is a problem with the fast boiling pot, the boiling pot cannot be stopped. I forced to unplug the plug and cook the pot to stop. The problem of the fast boiling pot immediately notified the service staff, and the new service was very good!
The hot spring bath switch is difficult to adjust the size of the water volume and turn off the water to stop. It takes a while to adjust the water slightly before stopping the water. I personally feel that it is very problematic to use and should be repaired! ?
The room lights switch - even on the phone button!
Quick boiling pot + poor location of clothes X
Location near Jinshan Old Street! ✓
Pay attention to the time when you go to the old street for dinner!
Visitors should pay attention to the snack bar closes at 7pm!
Only food vendors are selling!
Every parking space is very convenient! ✓
With small biscuits + cold drinks + brewing drinks ✓
The overall accommodation environment is still clean! ✓
Service is also fast and good! ✓
Bathroom hot spring bath water switch is difficult to adjust the size of the water problem! ?
It is recommended that the room has a luggage shelf, it will be more convenient!

We booked a hot spring experience inside the hotel room. The room was spacious, and the bed was really big for two people. The hot bathtub was okay, but the breakfast didn’t have many options to choose from. The coffee machine in the breakfast area was really weird, but the one on the 1st floor was good and legit.
From the hotel, you can walk to Jinshan Old Street. However, I visited on a rainy day, so many stores were not open.

I stayed here before when it opened. The outdoor bathing equipment was not well maintained or kept clean. The SPA pool was half full and damaged. Many facilities were not open and the swimming pool was not open for swimming. The rooms were well maintained and there was dehumidification everywhere. Fragrant and fragrant, the breakfast is not bad, the service staff have very good attitudes, and the sea view of the hot spring bath is still a selling point.

Room: The equipment is ordinary (not new), but it is well maintained and clean. The sound insulation effect is not good. You can hear footsteps and conversations in the corridor.
Parking: There are four parking spaces in front of the door (only small cars can be parked), and there is an open space opposite for parking.
Hot spring: The hot spring space in the room is quite large, with hot and cold springs, but the cold spring bath is too small. The disadvantage is that the bathroom does not separate wet and dry areas. In addition, the sound of water discharged from the bathtub is a bit loud.
Service: I arrived late, but the lady at the counter was very attentive and great.

The hotel is quite a distance from town. After a 90-minute bus ride from Taipei Main Station, we had to take a taxi for TWD 300 to get there. It's really not feasible to go down to town for meals, so be prepared to dine exclusively at the hotel. The food is on the pricier side, but that was expected. The outdoor hot spring facilities are excellent and very enjoyable; the atmosphere was peaceful and comfortable. My room type was also great; even though it was the most basic price, it came with a private hot spring tub in the room. When checking out, there's a free hotel shuttle bus at 11:45 AM that takes you to the bus station in town. The staff provided standard 4-star service, so don't expect anything extraordinary.

The private style in the hotel room is very large, and there is a lot of space for the whole family to soak. After a day of travel, returning to the bath here is really fatigue, and it is also the most anticipated link for children every day. The sanitation of the hotel is also very good, even if you walk barefoot in the room, you can feel relieved. In addition, the hot faucet is also very convenient, let alone worry about the hygiene of the dumplings, very assured accommodation experience

The hotel was close to the beach and had a hot spring for guests included. All the amenities were sparkling clean and the breakfast had a large selection of local dishes. Not the biggest variety for foreigners but you will get satisfied with what is there. Sadly we had bad weather and it was quite cold. The aircon doesn’t heat so it was pretty cold in the room itself. Busstation was a bit of a walk but manageable. You can also take transfer or cab if you travel with extensive luggage.

Fantastic location! It's just a short walk across the street to Yehliu Geopark. The seafood restaurants nearby are pretty good too, offering decent prices and fresh ingredients.
The hotel's play area is great for kids, but the breakfast was a chaotic mess with long lines and not much to eat. The room itself was simple and fairly clean, but the dirty window was a bit of a shame.

The bath provided by the hotel is very comfortable!
The room was quite clean, and there was an extra bed service, which really was an extra single bed! It’s also good for sleeping! The breakfast the next day was pretty good! Sauteed vegetables are delicious!

Very Good
NNguyen Do Nha UyenAfter coming back from Taiwan, I suddenly realized I hadn’t posted any photos or written a review about the adorable wooden cabin our family stayed in at Jiufen. Everyone in my family loved this place so much that I had to jot everything down now that I finally have some free time.
Most people I know usually stay in Taipei longer and just make a day trip to Jiufen without spending the night. As for me—I’ve lived in Hong Kong for quite a while, so compared to Hong Kong, Taipei didn’t leave much of an impression on me in terms of sights or food. The only thing that truly made me want to visit Taiwan was Jiufen — a sparkling little gem between the mountains and the sea 🏮🌿🌊
Jiufen feels like a dreamy fairytale village with its winding narrow alleys, steep stone stairways, and the warm glow of red lanterns everywhere. Walking around felt like stepping into another world, almost like a scene from a manga — especially for anyone who’s watched Spirited Away.

⭐🛖 Review of the wooden cabin called Twilight Forest in Jiufen
Just a 5-minute walk from the Old town, this wooden cabin brings together the warm glow of wood and the peaceful feeling of retreating into nature. It has a unique A-frame design, and at night, when the lights turn on, the whole place becomes incredibly cozy — the golden light shining through the windows and the plants around it create a “hideaway from the world” kind of vibe.
Inside, the space is open, airy, and tastefully decorated in a rustic style. There’s a small terrace with a swing chair hanging straight from the ceiling — sitting there at night, listening to insects and the wind rustling through the leaves, feels genuinely healing 🙃.
🛁🌿 Highlight: The glass-walled bathroom in the garden
This is the standout feature of the cabin. The bathtub is large and comfortable, placed right next to a 180° glass wall looking directly into a lush green garden. Natural daylight pours in, making your daytime bath feel like an outdoor spa surrounded by plants. (There’s also a roller blind if you need privacy)
Jiufen is a tiny village perched on a mountain, and it doesn’t have many hotels that offer spacious, comfortable accommodations. That’s why I was so happy to find this wooden cabin. Our family had the most wonderful two-night stay here.
If I ever return to Taipei, I would definitely book this place again ❤️
GGuest UserLoved the water filter/boiling machine, super convenient for a cup of tea/coffee with safe water!
Great that there's a dehumidifier!! No need to worry about the humidity.
The AC has warm mode too.
The café uphills offers chill place to sit.
GGuest UserWe had 3nites stay.
Great hotel, spacious, clean. Friendly staffs
Bath tub is a great way to end your day after a long day out.
Location:10 mins walk to Banqiao station for train/HSR
Amenities:Hotel does not provide free basic amenities, NT100 per pack. Remember bring your own.
Gym is chargeable, a pity
There is an Osen, free for the guests

There is a shop just opp the hotel that serve lamb hotpot during winter, very delicious.
Highly recommended except the location if u are dragging your luggages.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at Hotel Cham Cham Taipei. Everything exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The hotel is very clean, modern, and well-maintained, making it extremely comfortable for families.
The location is excellent—very convenient with easy access to public transportation, shopping areas, and plenty of food options nearby. It made exploring Taipei effortless, especially with family members.
The room itself was spacious, cozy, and perfect for relaxing after a full day of exploring.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially for families looking for comfort, convenience, and great service in Taipei. Would definitely stay here again!
RrosieecI was showering and someone (I presume male staff) opened my door. There was absolutely no need for this, and no way for me to stop it. He also saw me enter the room moments earlier so there was no doubt I was inside. No knock, just straight open the door.
As a solo female, there is no way to lock the door internally or stop staff from accessing your room. I still don't understand why they were doing so as they don't offer housekeeping and it was 3pm. I've stayed in over 30 places in Taiwan and this is the first time I've felt genuinely unsafe. Be very careful booking this accommodation.
My room was also very damp and needed a dehumidifier 24/7. They also didn't respond to my Line messages, and I was locked out of the hotel because they didn't send me an updated door code.
SsorloMy family and I stayed at the Yun Estate Hotel this past December, and we had a truly lovely time. Nestled in a quiet area, the hotel offers the perfect sense of serenity and escape from the usual hustle and bustle.
The absolute highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the accommodation. The room was incredibly spacious, but the game-changer was the private in-room hot spring. It provided a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all of us, and the kids absolutely loved splashing around in the warm water.
We opted to have breakfast delivered to our room, which was a convenient and nice touch in theory. The presentation of the food was absolutely beautiful but it looked way better than it tasted, unfortunately. While the meal wasn't bad, the flavor didn't quite match the high standard of the presentation.
For the little ones, the hotel is a dream. There is a playroom where they can watch movies, as well as a mini race track where they can drive electric cars. To top it off, the unlimited supply of drinks and snacks was a huge hit with them, making the stay feel extra special.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and are already looking forward to returning in the near future. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing retreat.
李李愛玲Overall so good! The room very clean, the size also so spacious, and they have free all you can eat snacks and drinks in lobby.
Check-in and check-out was very easy with the machine
AAnonymous UserThe location is super convenient—right on the airport MRT line and directly across from Sanchong Station. Around the hotel, there’s a local supermarket, Starbucks, and even a mall with lots of restaurants, so finding food is really easy.
We also got a free room upgrade, which was such a nice surprise. The bed was HUGE (felt like 240x200!) and the room itself was super spacious. Overall, super happy with the stay!
JJesse LumantosWe had a fantastic stay at Meworld Hotel-Sanchong! Although it’s not in Ximending, the hotel is still convenient. Bus stations for pick-up and drop-off to Ximending are nearby. The Airport Express is a 12 to 15-minute walk from the hotel. There are also plenty of stores nearby for food, including Watsons and OK Mart.
A receptionist was available all day to help us, and they spoke good English. However, the hotel only provides body wash and shampoo for hygiene. On the plus side, it was easy to request room cleaning, and they changed the bath towels and mats when we asked.
The bathroom was spacious, featuring a bathtub and strong water pressure. However, for tall individuals like me, the ceiling felt low as my head was already hitting the air vents.
Overall, this hotel offers great value for money. We had a wonderful experience and would happily book this hotel again if we return to Taiwan.
台台中阿源The reception staff was very friendly. I didn't have dinner there. The equipment was a bit old. Breakfast was available the next day, but it was simple. There was nothing special to order. I had thick slices, boiled eggs, and tomatoes that day. The air was pretty good.
