My five-year-old daughter was so sad about leaving Hong Kong and this hotel tomorrow that she cried in bed. She really loved this place! What made me feel very safe and secure, especially traveling alone with a child, was that you needed a room card to access any floor in the elevator. The room was cleaned daily, and we received two complimentary bottles of water every day, plus a free mini-bar. Our room also had a bathtub, and there's a pool at the hotel. It's a shame it rained during our entire trip to Hong Kong, so we couldn't swim. The hotel's location is excellent; I felt it was convenient for getting everywhere with a child. Every evening, I'd walk with her to Temple Street nearby for some herbal tea. All in all, I feel very fortunate to have found this hotel for our trip. Oh, and the medical staff in the lobby were all very friendly and professional, which really speaks to the class of this established four-star hotel! Thank you, Prudential Hotel, we'll definitely be back! 😁😁😁😁

This was my first time staying at this hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. The service at the front desk, in the lobby, and in the room was incredibly patient, warm, and attentive. It felt like the occupancy rate was high, and the lobby was bustling. Although I had to wait a bit for check-in, it didn't dampen my spirits at all. The room was spacious, bright, quiet, relaxing, clean, and comfortable; all in all, I really enjoyed my stay! The wardrobe, with its glass and solid wood frame, felt modern yet elegant. The view outside the window was captivating; while not a direct sea view, the distant skyline was impressive, with the scenery constantly changing as time passed. I was thrilled to admire the beauty of Victoria Harbour from such a unique perspective. I was even happy with the photos I took through the glass! The breakfast was also excellent! 😄 A delightful two days! Thank you, Park Hotel!

Location
Inside Haiphong Mansion, right in the middle of Tsim Sha Tsui. Harbour City, Nathan Road, Kowloon Park, and the Star Ferry are all within walking distance. The MTR station is just minutes away, making it easy to explore both Kowloon and Hong Kong Island.
Room & Comfort
I stayed for three nights. The single room is very tiny and has no window, but it feels cozy if you don’t mind the compact space. Linens were fresh, the layout efficient, and the air-conditioning was excellent — strong and reliable, which made the stay comfortable. The toilet was clean, and there was a multi-type power socket by the bed, great if you forget to bring a travel adapter. If you’re tall, the bed may feel restrictive as you can’t fully stretch out your legs.
Amenities
Facilities are simple: air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. No kettle in the room. Guests receive a single-use towel, shampoo, and shower gel every day, which keeps things hygienic and straightforward. Room slippers and bathroom slippers are provided. The Wi-Fi was fast and stable. Outside the room, there’s a water dispenser (hot and room-temperature only, no cold water) and a microwave oven free to use. Hot water for showering is available anytime. Hangers and a hair dryer are provided. Daily room cleaning is carried out, which keeps the space fresh. With plenty of food nearby, dining is easy and varied.
Check-in
Late check-in is allow here till 1am but after 12am need to inform the owner early. The front desk isn’t 24-hour, so arrivals after normal hours require coordination. This can be inconvenient for late-night travelers, but manageable if arranged in advance.
Service
The owner is genuinely nice and friendly, which makes a big difference in a guesthouse setting. Staff were helpful, making the process smooth once checked in. Allow to store your baggage before check in and out so you can explore in peace.
Atmosphere
The surrounding streets are lively, while the inn itself feels cozy. Some noise may filter through, but overall the vibe is casual and welcoming — closer to a homestay than a hotel chain.
Building & Access
The lift system in Haiphong Mansion is split between odd and even floors. Joyce Inn is located on the 5th floor, so you’ll need to use the lift serving odd-numbered levels.
Verdict
Joyce Inn is about location and value. Clean, affordable, and right in the middle of Tsim Sha Tsui’s energy. Best suited for solo travelers or couples who prioritize convenience over amenities. My three-night stay was comfortable overall — I appreciated the daily room cleaning, the fresh toiletries, the friendly owner, the strong air-conditioning, the clean toilet, the multi-type socket by the bed, the fast Wi-Fi, the abundance of food nearby, the free microwave oven, the provided slippers, the hot shower anytime, and the hanger and hair dryer. The price was about 80 SGD per night, which is acceptable, though I do hope it could be a little cheaper. The single room’s size and lack of window may not suit everyone, especially taller guests, but it worked well for me.

The Royal Garden Hotel is right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. I first stayed there back in 1999 when I visited Hong Kong, and I remember thinking how beautiful it was, especially the rooftop pool – absolutely stunning! The hotel's atrium restaurant, with its soaring, open-plan design spanning over ten floors, was also impressive. I've stayed at The Royal Garden several times since, and even on my most recent visit, it still felt remarkably new! Fantastic value for money.

There are plenty of options for dining and shopping nearby. The facilities and service are decent. I've stayed here multiple times, and it offers great value for money. Highly recommended!

The location is fantastic, with direct access to West Kowloon. I couldn't believe how much bigger the room was compared to chain hotels in mainland China – excellent value for money! The staff were great, and the lobby is spacious and offers luggage storage. It takes about 20 minutes by taxi to get to Disney.

The service was excellent and very considerate. When I had questions about getting around, the hotel staff were incredibly helpful and answered everything with a smile. They were so welcoming! Nearby, there's a Carrefour restaurant with amazing pineapple buns, and also 'Auntie Cong's Desserts'. The Lung Shing Duty Free Pharmacy also offers top-notch service. I was very happy; both the hotel and the surrounding area were fantastic. Loved it!
Welcome to Page148, a 197-room hotel, located in the vibrant heart of Tsim Sha Tsui on the Kowloon Peninsula in Hong Kong. The hotel, formerly occupied by an old tenement block, now resembles one of New York’s most iconic masterpieces, the Flatiron Building.

The hotel amenities were great: an LG smart TV, a Michelin sound system, a mini-fridge, kettle, and an air purifier in the room. The mini-fridge was a nice touch, offering 4 free drinks daily, plus two bags of Lay's chips.
Upon entering, there was a noticeable sweaty odor, which improved after running the AC and air purifier for a while. However, the duvet and carpets were clean and tidy.
It's a bit of a walk to the metro and bus stations, about ten minutes, so it's fine if you're not in a rush. Despite the rooms being close together and facing the street, it was surprisingly quiet, and I slept very comfortably.
Breakfast was pretty basic – just a bread and a cup of coffee. However, it seems to be a Korean-centric area with many Korean restaurants, so perhaps the breakfast caters to that preference.
Overall, I'd still recommend it, and it was a bonus not having to wait until after 3 PM for check-in.
Inspired by the theme of Dawn and Dusk, Hillwood House aims to provide a cozy and homey environment to both locals and travellers. Hillwood Road, located in Tsim Sha Tsui within close proximity to some of Hong Kong’s most talked-about attractions, and yet has its own unique sense of seclusion and characteristic is what sets us apart.
The contrast of the light and dark tones together with the spherical design elements throughout the hotel in different rooms allows us to transcend beyond the hustle-and-bustle of Hong Kong, and to really loosen up ourselves with ease. The chic built-in furnishing and colours definitely add to the holiday mood of the travellers and brighten up any dull normal day for the locals as they seek for peace and tranquility.
We put our guests’ comfort, hygiene, and privacy at our foremost by ensuring that we implement the most efficient automated check-in and out system, housekeeping and front desk services.

The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, shops, and stores. It's conveniently located, only a 15-minute walk from West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station. Although the hotel is small, it has all the essential amenities. The staff are very friendly and can speak both English and Chinese.
Please be informed that the hotel will be conducting an upgrading renovation program on our guest floors from 0900hrs to 1800hrs, in order to enhance the stay experience and room facilities. During this period, there might be intermittent noise occurs. Please be assured that we will make every effort to minimize the noise disruption. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and we do appreciate your understanding in this matter.

I booked two nights here at almost 500 per night, after carefully selecting it from an online platform known for its 'great value for money.' Overall, it had its pros and cons.
**Location:** This is definitely its core strength. You can walk to all sorts of tea houses, dessert shops, shopping, and supermarkets that Tsim Sha Tsui has to offer. Pretty much every place we spontaneously tried nearby turned out to be highly recommended by others. Public transport, needless to say, is easily accessible.
**Service:** We checked in on a non-holiday, arriving around 12 PM, and were able to check in smoothly without having to wait until 3 PM. The front desk staff and guiding personnel were all very polite and always smiling.
**Room:** We booked a 20-square-meter king room. Generally, it wasn't particularly spacious; you couldn't open a 20-inch suitcase on the floor, but it wasn't cramped either.
**Facilities:** This is where I felt they really fell short! First, the elevator – you have to wait a long time. There's only one elevator going up, so it genuinely took 5 minutes every time. For going down, there are two or three elevators, but only one goes directly to the ground floor. Another incredibly frustrating design was the motion-sensor light at the entrance. You couldn't manually turn it off, and it would periodically switch on automatically after we'd turned off all the lights to sleep! My child had just managed to fall asleep, and then suddenly was woken up by the bright light – it was beyond annoying! Eventually, around 1 AM, I had to go to the front desk for help, and they found an engineer to remove the motion-sensor light from our room. If your room also has a motion-sensor light at the entrance, I strongly advise asking the front desk to remove it proactively upon check-in. Otherwise, after a full day of activities, having to deal with this in the middle of the night is truly exhausting!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent, and the entrance is very noticeable. It's close to the Wan Chai MTR station, and there are many great restaurants nearby. We arrived a bit early, and the front desk agent, Lina Liu, kindly arranged an early check-in for us since there was a room available. After dropping off our luggage, we were able to go out and explore right away. She also gave each of us a canvas bag; her service was warm and attentive. The room itself was great – clean, tidy, and bright, with disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste provided. As someone with sleep issues, I slept soundly for ten hours. All the front desk staff were very helpful and quick to respond to any requests. There's an outdoor pool and foot bath in the side wing, which was very relaxing for a massage after a day of walking. I didn't take any pictures of the hotel, so the images are of the nearby streetscape. I'll definitely come back again.
YYas_miniThis was my second time staying at the hotel. And I was glad to see the upgraded an refreshed the towels. The hotel itself and room itself is kept well. The bathroom is clean and tidy. Only the half shower door isn’t very practical and all the water still goes out.
The rain shower was broken in my room.
The bedding was clean and comfy. But only two pillows are provided not 4. One of the towels had orange stains on it .
The cleaning could be better as I found the counter tops still stained with glass or can marks . Clearly showing the counter tops were not wiped down. The floor had hair and there was dirt in some corners.
The downside of this room is that it gets a lot of condensed. So on returning the floor would have moisture and condensation on it. It was just so annoying.
Other than that it’s in a super convenient location.
GGuest UserThis hotel definitely exceeded my expectations! For a price over HKD 1,000, I was expecting a tiny room in Hong Kong, but to my surprise, it was a suite. It had a living room with a sofa, coffee table, and dining table, and the bedroom had a super large bed. Plus, all the details in the bathroom were very clean.
The hotel staff were very nice, and their Mandarin was good. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, where you could order one set meal, and all four I tried were delicious. You could even see parrots flying outside the window while having breakfast.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its convenient location. It's about two bus stops from Admiralty Station (or walkable, really), a 200-meter walk from the Peak Tram Macdonnell Road Station, and within walking distance of Hong Kong Park and Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens. Highly recommend!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel staff were warm and professional. The front desk attendant was particularly helpful; we were a group hoping to stay on the same floor, and he really went out of his way to accommodate us. What truly stands out is finding such a reasonably priced hotel in a place like Hong Kong, where space is at a premium – it's truly a rare find! I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong. Plus, it's conveniently located right next to Tuen Mun MTR Station, which is a terminal station, making it easy to get anywhere. There's also a Light Rail stop nearby, and multiple bus routes just below the MTR station. It's convenient, affordable, and offers great value for money! 👍👍👍
Rruowen118The hotel is a bit far from popular attractions like Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay. A HKD 500 deposit is required upon check-in, and they accept RMB. There's a McDonald's, a 'cha chaan teng' (local cafe), and a convenience store nearby, so food options are pretty convenient. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel; you can take 4 stops to reach Wong Chuk Hang MTR station. Although the room is a bit small, it's very clean. Overall, it's still quite good.
AAnonymous UserYou really have to experience it for yourself to get the full picture.
Service Attitude: Everyone was incredibly kind and nice. My child was speaking English at the front desk, and I was assisting. The staff were very respectful, leaning in to patiently communicate with my child eye-to-eye and thoroughly addressing all our questions. Before we headed to our room, a lovely staff member even asked us if it was our first time in Hong Kong and if we knew where to eat out. So thoughtful!
Room Cleanliness: Connecting rooms. The room size is quite spacious for a Hong Kong hotel, and the sofa can even sleep one person. The attendant very nicely brought us an extra duvet and pillow. The room was clean and tidy, equipped with disposable toothbrushes, slippers, and mineral water. The dampness is 'standard' for a hotel by the sea, so we just opened the curtains every morning to let in the sun.
Room Soundproofing: Not soundproof at all. The room next door was watching TV until past 1 AM. I finally managed to fall asleep with my headphones on.
LLuna Blanca Ysmeralda⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a great stay at Venetian Hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui! The location is honestly one of the best things about it — it’s right in the center of everything in TST. There are so many food places just outside the building, so finding something to eat was never a problem.
The MTR is also very convenient, only about a 2-minute walk from TST Station Exit D2, which made commuting around Hong Kong super easy. If you’re coming from the airport by bus, you can simply stop at bus stop #14 (Mirador Mansion), which is very close to the hostel.
Another thing we appreciated was the housekeeping. They collect the trash every day, so when we came back our bins were already clean. They also changed our bedsheets and towels even though we didn’t request it, which was a really nice touch.
Just a small tip: they sometimes offer room upgrades when you arrive, but you can always say NO if you want to stick with your budget.
We stayed on the 13th floor, and that floor has a free water refilling station (which the other floors don’t have), so that was a big plus for us.
The only downside is that the elevator in the building can be very slow, especially during busy hours. But overall, the stay was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. Great option if you’re looking for a budget place in TST!
KKKingThe hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Prince Edward MTR Station. The lobby is on the third floor. The room size is decent; I could open my 26-inch suitcase flat. The bedding was quite clean and tidy, and the washroom area had a good wet/dry separation. As is common in Hong Kong, disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, and slippers are not provided, so remember to bring your own.
BbeibeiloveseaComing to Hong Kong this time, I searched for many hotels on Trip.com, but most rooms were tiny and the facilities were outdated. I finally decided to stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong, and as soon as I entered, I was blown away by the sea-view room on the first floor with a large balcony! Stepping out, you're greeted by an endless expanse of clear blue sea – the view is absolutely stunning! 🌊
At night, I enjoyed the sea breeze on the balcony, watching the starry sky, eating fruit, and having drinks. It was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Getting around from the hotel is super convenient; there's a free shuttle bus directly to the MTR station, making it easy to go shopping, explore, and try out all the amazing local food.
The buffet breakfast was a bit simple, so don't have high expectations. Once you're near the MTR station, there are so many Hong Kong delicacies that you'll wish you had more stomachs to try them all.
The hotel offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with a healing sea view and excellent value for money. The experience was fantastic, and it's definitely on my must-stay list for my next visit to Hong Kong. I'll definitely be back!
RRyonChenThe location is super convenient, with direct subway access. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making me feel right at home. While the room wasn't huge, it was clean and comfortable, and the sea view from my room was spectacular. Overall, it's great value for money, perfect for business trips or short getaways. I'd definitely consider staying here again.
