We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. My husband and I stayed in one room, while my parents stayed in another. The bathroom and shower were very clean and comfortable. The view is definitely better on the higher floors — my parents stayed on the 31st floor and had a lovely view, while our room on the 12th floor didn’t have much of a view, but honestly, we were mostly there just to sleep. There was bottled water in the room upon arrival, but when we asked for more the next day, we were told to get it from the gym. Also, the cone-shaped paper cups in the gym were not very practical — that could be improved. On the positive side, the hotel has a gym for those interested. The location is very convenient. We used the tram frequently to explore Hong Kong, and it’s very close to the hotel. There is also a shopping mall nearby, plenty of places to eat, and a supermarket right across the street. The room overall was nice. There was a slight humidity smell, but that seems to be common in Hong Kong. Keeping the air conditioning on helps a lot. It would be great if the hotel had universal power outlets. Greetings from Turkey — Turkish guests would definitely enjoy staying at this hotel.

I was a bit worried after seeing comments about the hotel lobby facing a garbage disposal site, but it actually didn't affect anything at all. Hong Kong's streets are quite clean, and aside from the potential noise of garbage collection late at night (the soundproofing isn't great), it was fine. If you want to stay in this location, I'd recommend getting a room on a higher floor. The room was small, but it had everything I needed, even though the facilities were a bit old. However, the cleanliness was excellent! Plus, they provided bottled water and a universal adapter, and the luggage storage service was a thoughtful touch. If you're looking for value for money and can get a room here for under 500, I'd say go for it! The location is unbeatable with tons of food options nearby and it's super close to the MTR station.

Room Environment: My 'premium room' with frosted, non-opening windows turned out to be a 'cemetery view room' or 'mountain view room,' right next to the Hong Kong Cemetery. It was surprisingly quiet though. I imagine a city view room might be a bit noisy since it's by an elevated highway. Cleanliness: Not great. I felt like the countertops weren't wiped down, there were water stains everywhere, and I even found a long hair from a previous guest on the wall. Facilities: Besides the disposable toiletries, they provide basic amenities like a fridge, hairdryer, makeup mirror, kettle, and even hand soap and body lotion. However, everything is quite old; even the plastic cups had scratches on the inside. On the bright side, there's a free pinball machine downstairs which was pretty fun. Service: The front desk staff were okay, and they spoke Mandarin which was helpful. You have to buy toiletries yourself from a vending machine downstairs, and there's no water dispenser in the room; you have to get water from one in the hallway. If your room is near the dispenser, you'll definitely hear people filling their bottles. Value for Money: If it were around 500 RMB, a cemetery view room would be great value. But I booked three weeks in advance for over 700 RMB, and it was non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and I couldn't even change the guest name. Then, closer to the May Day holiday, the price was practically cut in half! So, keep an eye on the pricing when you book.

Elysion Hotel is very near shopping district of Causeway Bay, where you can find Donki Quiote Japanese Store 24H open. Wellcome supermarket, Muji, Ikea, Sogo Mall & Hysan Mall, near Bakehouse, Nike Adidas, Apple store. There are luxury shops too. Big bonus!! A currency exchange & 711 at the corner. Opposite side is where Starbucks, McDonalds and convenience stores are located. Trams & Bus stops are just a few steps outside the hotel and sandwiched between 2 MTR stations - Tin Hau & Causeway Bay. Tin Hau is less crowded and nearest to the hotel. So this place is the best location for everything, its clean, cheap and they accomodatee us for an early check in which is great.

We been staying at this hotel on at least two previous occasions! On the whole, we had not been disappointed! The facilities are good but mostly dated. The cleanliness is generally quite good standards. The staff are very helpful and pleasant; the services are prompt and responsive. The location is unquestionably excellent. It is closed to all public amenities, eateries, department stores and public transport. The tram stops are right in the front of the hotel! We enjoy the great deal for being a “long stay”. Apart from getting a good price, we received a fresh fruit plate, free drinks in the fridge, daily free soup and desert treats and one off free laundry. And the best of all is the free airport shuttle bus dropping us back to the airport!!! Anyway we be sure to go back again!!

Although the hotel facilities are a bit dated, the location is excellent! It's just a 5-minute walk from Causeway Bay MTR Station and very close to major shopping malls. It's a great place to stay for sightseeing and shopping. The rooms aren't huge, but at least you can spread out your luggage. The large desk and the city view window with a charming night view alone make it worth the price. While the bathroom has a bathtub, it's mainly used for showering and there's no wet/dry separation. This means the bathroom floor gets wet after a shower, and you have to stand in water when brushing your teeth. I hope the hotel can improve this. A special note for mainland tourists: Hong Kong hotels generally do not provide disposable toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, or combs, so you'll need to bring your own. The hotel uses British-standard plugs, so you'll also need to bring an adapter.

Fantastic location with great value for money. It's right across the street from the Lane Crawford exit of Causeway Bay MTR Station's Times Square exit. The room is compact but perfectly functional. You can walk to Pak Sha Road and Lee Garden in just a few minutes from downstairs. However, I wouldn't recommend the breakfast; it's really not worth it.

The location is the best thing about this place. It's super close to Sogo and Hysan Place, so it's really convenient for shopping and finding food. The staff here are actually very nice and helpful, which I appreciated. As for the room, it's exactly what the name says-”mini.” It's very small (basically just a bed and a tiny bathroom), so don't bring big suitcases. The main issue is the soundproofing. It's pretty bad -you can hear people talking in the hallway and the doors slamming quite clearly.

This trip to Hong Kong, I chose The Park Lane Hong Kong, a Pullman Hotel in Causeway Bay, and the location is absolutely superb! The MTR station is right downstairs, and SOGO, Hysan Place, and Times Square are all within walking distance. It’s incredibly convenient to head back to the hotel to rest after a tiring shopping spree. Victoria Park is directly opposite the hotel, and some rooms even offer views of Victoria Harbour. 🏨 Room Experience I booked a Premium Panoramic Room. For Hong Kong standards, the room was spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was decent. It faced Victoria Park directly, offering an open view. However, as an older hotel, the facilities do show their age a bit. The carpet looked a little worn, and you have to stand in the tub to shower. If this bothers you, you might want to look into their newly renovated room types. 🍳 Breakfast was great – especially noteworthy! The breakfast was genuinely plentiful! The buffet offered a wide variety of options: Chinese dishes included freshly prepared noodles, steamed dim sum, and congee; Western options had bread, salads, and fried eggs; and the fruit was fresh. I saw some comments saying that while the breakfast selection might not be huge, the taste was excellent, and the coffee was good. The executive lounge breakfast is à la carte and made to order, which provides a great experience when it's not too crowded. During my stay, I left full every morning, so it definitely lives up to the 'great breakfast' reputation. 💡 Other Experiences Overall, the service was on point. The front desk and bellhops were very enthusiastic, and some guests specifically praised staff members like Chloe and Keith. The night view from the SKYE bar on the top floor is stunning, perfect for a drink in the evening. There's a 24-hour Wellcome supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient for buying water and snacks. ⚠️ A small complaint They only provide two small cans of complimentary water per day, and extra ones are charged, which feels a bit stingy. Also, the elevator buttons are different in each lift, so I had to look down to find them every time. All in all, The Park Lane wins on location and breakfast, making it an excellent base for shopping in Causeway Bay. It's suitable for both business trips and family vacations. Given the convenient transportation and great food, I would consider staying here again on my next visit to Hong Kong.

The location is excellent just a short walk to the subway and close to a major bus stop with routes to many parts of the city. The area is surrounded by restaurants, so finding a late‑night meal is never a problem. The room is definitely worth the price; this is Hong Kong, after all, where space is a luxury. It was quiet, comfortable, and came with a nice view. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. I’ll definitely book here again on my next visit.

AAnonymous UserTraveling with family, we chose the family room at this hotel, which had one large and one small bed, enough for 2 adults and 2 children. The room was small but well-appointed, and canned mineral water was provided. The air conditioning was very strong. It's a 5-minute walk from Wan Chai MTR Exit C, an 8-minute walk to catch the tram, a 15-minute walk to the Star Ferry, and a 5-minute walk to the airport bus stop. The transportation is incredibly convenient. If I come to Hong Kong again in the future, I'll definitely consider staying here.

YYas_miniThis was my second time staying at the hotel. And I was glad to see the upgraded an refreshed the towels. The hotel itself and room itself is kept well. The bathroom is clean and tidy. Only the half shower door isn’t very practical and all the water still goes out. The rain shower was broken in my room. The bedding was clean and comfy. But only two pillows are provided not 4. One of the towels had orange stains on it . The cleaning could be better as I found the counter tops still stained with glass or can marks . Clearly showing the counter tops were not wiped down. The floor had hair and there was dirt in some corners. The downside of this room is that it gets a lot of condensed. So on returning the floor would have moisture and condensation on it. It was just so annoying. Other than that it’s in a super convenient location.

GGuest UserThis hotel definitely exceeded my expectations! For a price over HKD 1,000, I was expecting a tiny room in Hong Kong, but to my surprise, it was a suite. It had a living room with a sofa, coffee table, and dining table, and the bedroom had a super large bed. Plus, all the details in the bathroom were very clean. The hotel staff were very nice, and their Mandarin was good. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, where you could order one set meal, and all four I tried were delicious. You could even see parrots flying outside the window while having breakfast. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its convenient location. It's about two bus stops from Admiralty Station (or walkable, really), a 200-meter walk from the Peak Tram Macdonnell Road Station, and within walking distance of Hong Kong Park and Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens. Highly recommend!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel staff were warm and professional. The front desk attendant was particularly helpful; we were a group hoping to stay on the same floor, and he really went out of his way to accommodate us. What truly stands out is finding such a reasonably priced hotel in a place like Hong Kong, where space is at a premium – it's truly a rare find! I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong. Plus, it's conveniently located right next to Tuen Mun MTR Station, which is a terminal station, making it easy to get anywhere. There's also a Light Rail stop nearby, and multiple bus routes just below the MTR station. It's convenient, affordable, and offers great value for money! 👍👍👍

Rruowen118The hotel is a bit far from popular attractions like Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay. A HKD 500 deposit is required upon check-in, and they accept RMB. There's a McDonald's, a 'cha chaan teng' (local cafe), and a convenience store nearby, so food options are pretty convenient. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel; you can take 4 stops to reach Wong Chuk Hang MTR station. Although the room is a bit small, it's very clean. Overall, it's still quite good.

LLuna Blanca Ysmeralda⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a great stay at Venetian Hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui! The location is honestly one of the best things about it — it’s right in the center of everything in TST. There are so many food places just outside the building, so finding something to eat was never a problem. The MTR is also very convenient, only about a 2-minute walk from TST Station Exit D2, which made commuting around Hong Kong super easy. If you’re coming from the airport by bus, you can simply stop at bus stop #14 (Mirador Mansion), which is very close to the hostel. Another thing we appreciated was the housekeeping. They collect the trash every day, so when we came back our bins were already clean. They also changed our bedsheets and towels even though we didn’t request it, which was a really nice touch. Just a small tip: they sometimes offer room upgrades when you arrive, but you can always say NO if you want to stick with your budget. We stayed on the 13th floor, and that floor has a free water refilling station (which the other floors don’t have), so that was a big plus for us. The only downside is that the elevator in the building can be very slow, especially during busy hours. But overall, the stay was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. Great option if you’re looking for a budget place in TST!

The bedding was quite clean and tidy, and the washroom area had a good wet/dry separation. As is common in Hong Kong, disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, and slippers are not provided, so remember to bring your own.

GGuest UserMy teacher mentioned that the location is indeed valuable, and the in-room facilities aren't as bad as I imagined. However, there's a critical flaw: a complete lack of security. There's no secure entrance, or you could even say there's no real door at all. People can just walk in and out of the building freely. When I returned around 11 PM and left around 6 AM, the entrance was always wide open – not even a pretense of security. What's worse, all the sliding doors leading to the rooms upstairs are also unlocked. A random passerby could literally walk all the way up and stand right outside your room door. If you're a woman traveling alone, absolutely do not stay here. Then there's the dampness, which seems to be an inherent issue with the building's structure. It's not the kind of extreme dampness where water drips, but the moment you walk in, the air feels incredibly stagnant, with poor ventilation. The air conditioner is right above the bed, and since it's still early in the year, the weather isn't too hot yet. I can't imagine how unbearable it would be in the summer. I was assigned the smallest room on the entire floor, and it honestly felt no different from a prison cell. The bed was right up against the balcony door, making it incredibly noisy – much louder than I expected. I consider myself quite tolerant of noise, but here, it was noisy both inside and outside. When a group of college students stayed, I didn't get any sleep all night. Unless you truly have no other option, seriously, don't stay here.
