The location was great, right next to a wet market, which was very convenient. There was a minor issue during check-in, but the front desk proactively offered a room upgrade, and they even gave us a complimentary gift upon check-out. Very nice! Getting to various attractions was also quick."

"The staff were very helpful. Parking was limited, so I parked underground. They upgraded my room to a first-floor room for the special offer, which offered slightly less privacy. However, considering I went during a holiday, the price was quite reasonable. Breakfast was also good. There's a bus stop right outside, and the subway station is a 15-minute walk away, making transportation convenient."

"This is my fifth stay at this hotel. Although it's a bit older, the facilities are well-maintained and all in working order. The hotel's service is truly commendable. Whether it's Sister Liu from housekeeping, or Chen Honghua and Sister Hu from the breakfast restaurant, they always go above and beyond for guests. Even the doorman works diligently to help guests with their luggage and load it into their cars. A special shout-out to Chen Honghua – every time I see her, she's actively assisting guests, busy yet always with a warm and friendly smile. She's so kind!"

"The Sanxiang Road Overseas Chinese Hotel in Suzhou boasts excellent transportation links. It's just 200 meters from the subway station, right after Sanxiang Bridge, and there's a bus stop directly outside with routes to Canglang Pavilion and Suzhou Library. While it's an older hotel with somewhat dated facilities, the service quality remains top-notch. The duvet covers in the room were freshly changed, and the cleanliness was quite good. The lobby and corridors have an ancient, elegant design that truly captures the essence of Suzhou. The staff were fantastic, especially the polite service from Miss 015 and Miss 012 at the front desk, and another male receptionist who was also very professional. I would definitely choose this hotel again."

"Great value for money, this is my second time here and it feels just as refreshing. I'll definitely be back! This time, I drove to hike Lion Mountain, and also revisited the Suzhou Museum next door. Last time I came for the May Day holiday, it was packed, but this time there were very few people. It's a shame the third floor was closed for renovation though. Even staying in the hotel is pleasant, I just couldn't find the gym anywhere..."

"Absolutely amazing! I'm so glad I picked this hotel, all that time I spent choosing was worth it. It's even more upscale than I imagined. While it's a bit of a walk from the subway, there are bus stops conveniently located behind the hotel. They have a bathtub, a tatami floor-to-ceiling window, a rain shower head, bathroom slippers, a mini-fridge, and a water dispenser 😍. They even have a Xiaomi smart scale and a Dyson hairdryer, plus a projector... so many thoughtful touches! The front desk staff are wonderful, and they even let me check in early. They offer free laundry service in advance and even prepared a detailed PDF for guests. The atmosphere is so comfortable, I almost didn't want to leave and explore! 🥹"

"Close to the subway station, surrounded by the Cai Xiang residential area, near the Cai Xiang vegetable market, and with many long-established eateries, it's very convenient for dining and getting around. I hadn't noticed that the room type I booked didn't have an elevator before, but the front desk helped me upgrade to a more comfortable room."

"Our family of three booked a triple parent-child room. The room was spacious with an open view outside the window. We didn't hear any outside noise during our stay, so it was very quiet. The hotel's location is excellent, with a subway station, Starbucks, and KFC right downstairs, making it extremely convenient for getting around and dining. The hotel's breakfast buffet opens at 6:30 AM and offers both Chinese and Western options. The Chinese-style mini wontons and Suzhou-style noodles were delicious, and the Ding Sheng pastry was freshly steamed. The Western options were a bit limited, but generally sufficient. The hotel lobby on the first floor also sells various cultural and creative products from the Suzhou Museum, saving guests the trouble of going out to buy them, which is a nice touch. The restaurant on the second floor serves Aozhao noodles and Suzhou cuisine. We ordered a smoked fish plain noodle set, crab roe noodles, and celery and dried tofu, and even a bottle of yellow wine since it was cold. Everything tasted great, and the prices were moderate. The only minor drawback is that the hotel's decor feels a bit dated, and the room furniture is slightly old. It would be perfect if it were newer."

The garden landscaping is top-notch, with each of the 'Eight Views of Wu Palace' offering unique charm. A back exit provides direct access to the Panmen Scenic Area, allowing for day and night exploration. The hotel's restaurants are distinctive, with both the Chinese and Western establishments being superb. The Ruimian Noodle House, a Suzhou-style noodle restaurant, is particularly elegant and authentic!"
