Hotels near Qiuhonggu Square, Taichung

This time I stayed at the Ful Won Hotel in Taichung. Its location is incredibly convenient: right next to the MRT City Hall Station, with bus stops on both sides of the main road, making transfers to other places easy. It's very friendly for those who don't want to drag their luggage too far. The hotel exterior looks a bit old, giving the impression it's been around for a while. However, when we got to our floor, there was a rather strong paint smell in the corridor, suggesting the hotel had recently undergone renovations or repainting. The room itself was generally clean, and the basic amenities were sufficient, making for an acceptable stay. But there are two design flaws that really need mentioning: 1. **Poorly designed bedside power outlets:** The outlets are located behind the pillows. If you try to charge your phone while lying down, the plug can easily shift or even poke your head, which is inconvenient and poses a slight safety concern. 2. **Too dark in the bathtub area:** After pulling the shower curtain for a shower, it's almost pitch black inside the curtain because the bathtub area lacks independent lighting. It's not very comfortable to use. What I do want to praise is the service at the front desk in the lobby: I asked about good food nearby, and the staff gave many suggestions with a very good attitude. Plus, the lobby space is very spacious with comfortable sofas, making it convenient for waiting or resting. In summary: If you prioritize convenient transportation and good service, this hotel is perfectly acceptable. However, if you care about in-room details (outlet placement, bathtub lighting) and are sensitive to smells, you should be prepared.

The front desk staff were polite and helpful! 👍🏼 The room was a little different from what I saw on the official website; there was only a chair but no coffee table. I liked the room's color scheme, and the floors, mattress, and pillows were comfortable. It was also very clean. The only minor issues were that the bathroom had no hooks, and the toilet paper was placed behind the toilet, which was a bit hard to reach. The common area was great! 👍🏼 It had hot and cold water, tea bags, a coffee machine, a microwave, cutlery, vending machines... and even books about Taichung!

Overall, the hotel is good and service from the staff is great too. Breakfast Hotel has a good spread and enjoyed the food there. Hotel is well located near the Fengjia Night Market and you can go there in 3 min but is not very near the city centre and you may need to take a bus or walk there. .

There are plenty of dining options near the hotel, and PX Mart and other stores are within walking distance. Self check-in is available, and parking can be used for an additional fee. The room is simple, and the bathroom is larger than what you'd typically find in a city hotel. Recommended for business travelers.

Our stay at the Mulan Motel - Taichung Branch this time truly felt like a special, ritualistic getaway. From the moment we drove into our private garage and entered the room, we felt a complete sense of privacy and exclusivity, totally undisturbed. It was perfect for those times when you just want to relax without interruption. The room itself was spacious, with a design that exuded understated luxury, and the lighting created a soft, comfortable ambiance. The bathroom, with its Jacuzzi, was definitely the highlight. After a good soak, I felt completely relaxed, and all my fatigue just melted away. The bed was wonderfully soft and comfortable, ensuring an excellent night's sleep. Its location is also incredibly convenient, close to the Taichung 7th Redevelopment Zone and popular attractions. During the day, we could take a leisurely stroll in the Fulfillment Amphitheater, and in the evening, we'd head to Fengjia Night Market for some delicious food. The itinerary flowed perfectly. Overall, Mulan isn't just a place to stay; it's an experience that encourages you to slow down and enjoy quality time, especially for couples. If you're planning a date, celebrating a birthday, or simply want to treat yourself to a relaxing break, this place comes highly recommended. ❤️❤️

Location is not that fantastic.U need to book a cab to go anywhere.The only bonus points is it is opposite a shopping mall that includes Carrefour and some decent restaurants for yr food Staff are friendly and very prompt in their service But towels are not change every day,U need to inform them to get it changed and replaced.But they do tends to forget,u need to remind them again. Overall no complaints,it's just a average hotel with no frills I gave it a motel not hotel

I had a wonderful stay at Millennium Hotel Taichung! This is truly a 5-star experience from the moment I arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. As soon as my taxi pulled up, the bellboy came over right away and helped with my luggage—even sending it directly to my room without me needing to handle anything. Such thoughtful service! The room was very spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day out. I especially loved the little touches, like the Nespresso coffee machine for a nice cup of coffee anytime. The biggest surprise was the complimentary mini bar—there were four bottles of soft drinks provided for free, which was such a nice bonus! The bathroom was also impressively large, clean, and well-designed, adding to the overall luxurious feel of the stay. Overall, I highly recommend Millennium Hotel Taichung if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I would definitely stay here again! 😊

Pros: The room and bathroom were very clean. It's about a 15-18 minute walk to Fengjia Night Market, so the location is pretty good and the price is great. They also offer parking, so overall, it's good value for money. Cons: We had a triple room, and while no wardrobe is fine, only providing three hangers is a bit stingy. The Wi-Fi in the room was unstable and kept disconnecting unexpectedly. Having no power outlets by the bed was very inconvenient for me. The breakfast was terrible, but given the low price, I can accept it. The soundproofing is absolutely terrible, absolutely terrible, absolutely terrible! I could hear footsteps from the room upstairs past 2 AM, from 11 PM until after 2 AM. It was really annoying. I probably won't book this place again.

The room was small but well-equipped, and the neighborhood felt quiet and comfortable. It's also very close to Feng Chia Night Market, making dining super convenient. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the price was affordable.

Revisiting this hotel after two years, the room is keeping clean still. The staffs are very helpful. Quiet, good location and good price. Two remarkable sharings in this re-visting: 1. You can borrow USB charging plug from the reception if you only have the charging line. This is impressive. 2. Don't forget to subscribe the breakfast when booking. It is value for money.
