Hotels near Qiuhonggu Square, Taichung

This time I stayed at the Ful Won Hotel in Taichung. Its location is incredibly convenient: right next to the MRT City Hall Station, with bus stops on both sides of the main road, making transfers to other places easy. It's very friendly for those who don't want to drag their luggage too far. The hotel exterior looks a bit old, giving the impression it's been around for a while. However, when we got to our floor, there was a rather strong paint smell in the corridor, suggesting the hotel had recently undergone renovations or repainting. The room itself was generally clean, and the basic amenities were sufficient, making for an acceptable stay. But there are two design flaws that really need mentioning: 1. **Poorly designed bedside power outlets:** The outlets are located behind the pillows. If you try to charge your phone while lying down, the plug can easily shift or even poke your head, which is inconvenient and poses a slight safety concern. 2. **Too dark in the bathtub area:** After pulling the shower curtain for a shower, it's almost pitch black inside the curtain because the bathtub area lacks independent lighting. It's not very comfortable to use. What I do want to praise is the service at the front desk in the lobby: I asked about good food nearby, and the staff gave many suggestions with a very good attitude. Plus, the lobby space is very spacious with comfortable sofas, making it convenient for waiting or resting. In summary: If you prioritize convenient transportation and good service, this hotel is perfectly acceptable. However, if you care about in-room details (outlet placement, bathtub lighting) and are sensitive to smells, you should be prepared.

I really like the vibe of this hotel and the room. I booked two rooms for my family, and they loved it too. Everything is pretty, neat, and smells good. The location is super convenient with convenience stores, a department store, karaoke, and more nearby, so there’s nothing to worry about. There’s also a gym (sorry I didn’t take many photos, maybe next time 🤣). Plus, the Dyson hairdryer and thoughtful amenities were a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location to the fengjia nightmarket. Room is good size for 4 adults and clean huge bathroom with 2 basins :) The breakfast spread is awesome and with a good variety.

Hotel is clean and located in walking distance to the night market. It is also next to a busy street and sound proofing doesn’t seem to work in one direction. I wasn’t able to hear people next room, but the noise from mopeds and people getting off and on the elevator (room next to elevator) were clearly audible. Our stay at the Mulan Motel - Taichung Branch this time truly felt like a special, ritualistic getaway. From the moment we drove into our private garage and entered the room, we felt a complete sense of privacy and exclusivity, totally undisturbed. It was perfect for those times when you just want to relax without interruption. The room itself was spacious, with a design that exuded understated luxury, and the lighting created a soft, comfortable ambiance. The bathroom, with its Jacuzzi, was definitely the highlight. After a good soak, I felt completely relaxed, and all my fatigue just melted away. The bed was wonderfully soft and comfortable, ensuring an excellent night's sleep. Its location is also incredibly convenient, close to the Taichung 7th Redevelopment Zone and popular attractions. During the day, we could take a leisurely stroll in the Fulfillment Amphitheater, and in the evening, we'd head to Fengjia Night Market for some delicious food. The itinerary flowed perfectly. Overall, Mulan isn't just a place to stay; it's an experience that encourages you to slow down and enjoy quality time, especially for couples. If you're planning a date, celebrating a birthday, or simply want to treat yourself to a relaxing break, this place comes highly recommended. ❤️❤️

Almond the hotel I have stayed is the most clean. Good location and very near to MRT station just 260m but I think more than that. Stay 1 night. Confortable for sleeping. Near to shopping mall and temple.

My stay at this hotel is a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, making sure that all instructions were clear and helpful throughout my visit. My room was impressively clean and spacious, and there is daily welcome food platter. The bed was cozy, allowing me to sleep very well each night. While the hotel is located at the western district, a bit far from the central district, there are plenty of supermarkets and a variety of restaurants in the vicinity, which made it convenient for me. The breakfast options were abundant, offering something for everyone. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its great service, comfort, and amenities!

Room is clean, staff are friendly, breakfast good. Have free coffee and biscuits at reception area. Bus stop just at door step, MRT 600m away. Water pressure is great for shower Night market one km away. Hotel staff help to book taxi. Only short coming is road traffic is noisy.

The room felt very cozy, like a home away from home. The hot water was plentiful and the A/C was perfectly cold. The staff provided excellent and thoughtful service.

Revisiting this hotel after two years, the room is keeping clean still. The staffs are very helpful. Quiet, good location and good price. Two remarkable sharings in this re-visting: 1. You can borrow USB charging plug from the reception if you only have the charging line. This is impressive. 2. Don't forget to subscribe the breakfast when booking. It is value for money.
