GGuest UserHotel room is small but overall the facilities in the hotel room are decent. The hotel receptionists are helpful and the hotel room is clean. Location wise is near to Taichung train station, but not so favorable for me as it’s not near to the high speed rail station or any other tourist spots except Miyahara ice cream. Breakfast can also be improved further.

TTongniEnvironment: Great, quiet, and comfortable. Facilities: Excellent, the hot springs are fantastic with both indoor and outdoor options. Hygiene: Very clean and tidy. Service: The staff are all very friendly and enthusiastic, and there's a high staff-to-guest ratio. Dining: Breakfast is very rich and varied.

AAnonymous UserLocation - I’m not sure if we just missed out on what’s nearby. But we did walk on the sides, we were searching around of what’s there to see. We didn’t see much, like we realized after walking for a few minutes that we just found the convenient store which is kinda far if that was the nearest available (or again, there could be one the other side we don’t know haha). So after walking around, and realizing there’s nothing much to see. We already booked an Uber going to the night market. It wasn’t that far from the HSR Station. I couldn’t remember the exact distance and travel time. But if I find it far I’d normally remember it and say it. Service - it was an easy check-in and check-out. Though, I almost forgot to get a receipt. Had to proactively ask for one. Luckily we decided to stay for a bit after checking out, we remembered it and got to request for it. I like how they already asked upon checking in if we need a room cleaning service. That was convenient. The breakfast was so so (on my personal taste bud). Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t that bad. I love the room the most! We were happy about how spacious it is. And it has an AI box which we loved. The bathtub has a tv, the shower area was spacious, the ambience of the room, hallways and lobby. The free snacks. The brand of the body wash and conditioner. The free Nescafe machine in the lobby. I’d definitely recommend it and I’d stay here again. (Though I still have a pending concern that I have to figure out myself, cause the amount showing in the invoice was different from the amount showing on tha app. Haven’t checked how much was the final amount taken out on my card) The late check out costs Ntd$1,000/hour

GGuest UserCheck-in at 4 PM was a bit late, but the Taichung Park nearby was a nice bonus. It's within walking distance of the Yizhong Street Night Market. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's great that there's a hot and cold water dispenser in the hallway. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable, so I slept very well. I highly recommend this place.

GGuest UserThe first day we arrived there was a city cleaning and so there were so many cockroaches on the first floor but the staff was trying to clean it and it's not their fault. The rooms are very spacious and nice. Breakfast also included and very delicious. (The fries are the besttttt) Tho you have to walk a bit to another hotel, the aunty there is really nice! They no longer provide you plastic amenities but i guess that's for every hotel in Taiwan. Overall a really nice place to stay!

MM9173****Facilities: The room wasn't huge, but it had everything I needed. The bathroom was very spacious with both a shower and a bathtub 🛁, which was great. Service: Excellent! Every staff member was wonderful, especially Rich, who was incredibly attentive and made me feel very well looked after. Cleanliness: Good. Environment: The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it was decent, and they had my favorite, salad.

GGuest UserThe Plaza Hotel is actually an older, well-established brand in Taichung. Its location is quite good, and the entire hotel has been recently renovated, so it's still very spacious and clean. It's conveniently located in the city center, making it easy to get to Fengjia Night Market, the Intercontinental Baseball Stadium, the new Hanshin Department Store, or Shinkong Mitsukoshi in the 7th Redevelopment Zone. There's parking available on-site. The hotel also offers breakfast, but you can choose a room-only option if you prefer not to have it. Definitely recommended!

Having simple late-night snacks and breakfast included is incredibly convenient and delicious. AAnonymous UserThe room was good and clean. And they offer a self-service laundry- of course you need to pay your laundry which is fare enough. But they don't provide any toothpaste ans toothbrush, which was indicated in their front desk and before booking. I was a bit confused though because I thought the reservation includes breaksfast as stated in the site but when i arrived, i was informed that it wasn't included. But the staffs are kind and helped me booked a taxi going back to the airport at a wee hour. The room i stayed had a window, there's ref and closet with only 2 hangers. The only problem i had was the aircon which was centralized or controlled so when it is cold at night, it is hard to increase the temperature. I couldn't really sleep well.
